Dear Sergey, many thanks for the invitation to join this forum. Although I do not formally teach English, I am into Adult Education (see http://www.associatesintraining.com) so rely heavily on people being able to comprehend what we are teach IN English. I do not know the En101 programe so I cannot comment on it, but can I offer a couple of other bits of encouragement taken from many years of working and teaching in foreign countries (including Russia, the Ukraine, Hungary and the Baltics. Firstly - how is it that English has become the foremost language used in business in the world? My feeling is that it is because English is a 'forgiving language'. Unlike German or French, the average Englsh speaker does not flinch at mistakes made in grammar by others - even their own people Secondly, we steal any word that is useful -againunlike the French who actively work against adopting useful words - note: A Computer is an Ordinateur, and so on. In this way other languages form extraneous barriers to learning - whereas English does not. For me this means that English can be more fun to learn, as teachers should not be too judgemental with their students.Language is COMMUNICATION and not a grammatical imperative. Keep up the good work.

Hi Norman: Glad you stopped in. Do take a look inside en101. Free sample and browse in the office where you will see our mission statement. **850 million users of the internet are on line now every day. Only 300 million use English well enough to do business. 500 million need Enlish. En101 is designed to level the playing field and make the internet a good place to do business for our international friends. Each year there are 26% more added. At the end of 2005 675 million will need English to compete on the internet.** 1320 Million will need English by the end of 2006. Maybe that explains why en101 in 8 months is in 165 countries. Sergey, I think this is just wonderful! I setup a thread for (webcasting) at the University where I taught in KC, MO and this was used for every type of subject matter one could think of from video conferencing, to tax courses, technology courses and of course lectures....each sun station / computer was equipped with a camera, mics, and speakers along with headsets and software which allowed them to utilized their own webcast...the screen showed up to five different satellite sites (locations)....it was great. You could see everyone and everyone could see you...strange to be telecasting on a computer in Kansas City to someone over in China and another in Colorado all at the same time. LOL! The difference between telecasting/webcasting is that it is live and each person can interact with one another...nlike TV! You cannot interact with the commentator on TV but you sure can the Professor during a lecture using webcast. Have a blessed day!
