Dear Sergey,
many thanks for the invitation to join this forum.
Although I do not formally teach English, I am into Adult Education (see http://www.associatesintraining.com) so rely heavily on people being able to comprehend what we are teach IN English.
I do not know the En101 programe so I cannot comment on it, but can I offer a couple of other bits of encouragement taken from many years of working and teaching in foreign countries (including Russia, the Ukraine, Hungary and the Baltics.
Firstly - how is it that English has become the foremost language used in business in the world? My feeling is that it is because English is a 'forgiving language'. Unlike German or French, the average Englsh speaker does not flinch at mistakes made in grammar by others - even their own people
Secondly, we steal any word that is useful -againunlike the French who actively work against adopting useful words - note: A Computer is an Ordinateur, and so on. In this way other languages form extraneous barriers to learning - whereas English does not.
For me this means that English can be more fun to learn, as teachers should not be too judgemental with their students.Language is COMMUNICATION and not a grammatical imperative.
Keep up the good work.
