My Dear Adland Pro Family, I have had personal correspondence with Shelly and she asked if we would pray for her and her family. Any thoughts or prayers would be very welcome. What she told me broke my heart. Here is what she said: Hi Marion. Thank You so Much for your Response in Your Forum. I know that You Have a Strong Faith in God and if you dont mind, Would You Please Pray for me and My Family. I dont want to be a Burden and I dont want to be a Complainer Definately Because I know People are Having it alot worse then us But I do Know that There is Strength in Prayer. We have been without Hot Water and Heat for Several Months. It Really was not that Bad But it is starting to get Cold now. We have not been able to Afford to pay the Bill just so that we can Keep our Rent and Other Utilities on. We did Finally Get Our Car running so Now My Daughter and Myself will be Looking for work. My Husband Works Hard, but it does not always cover the Bills. I have been Trying so Hard to get something going on the Internet but Have not had any Success so Far. I will Keep Working on it. On Top of that, I had Applied for Medical Cards for our Family, and Our Kids and Grandson Were approved But Me and my Husband were turned down Because He Supposedly Makes Too Much Money. Silly. I Have been Getting Sicker, Having Chronic Pain from my Degenerative Arthritis and Now some Complications with Bleeding and Clots. I think I may have to Have a Hysterectomy. Like I said, I really dont want to Burden You or Anyone, We just Need some Prayers. Please Keep us in Your Prayers and Thank You for Lending me Your Shoulder. Please find a way to comfort and help them during this time in their lives. Help Shelly to become healthy again. Lead this family in the right direction to solve all their problems. Hi Marion, Shelly is one of my dearest friends here in the community. I have been aware of her problems, and have kept up prayers for her. I am also researching options she might use to gain some financial relief for her family. I would ask that others do so as well. Couple the prayers with ideas. Does anyone know of assistance programs which would help her? Is there some grant resources out there? I add my plea to your post, Marion, that others couple their prayers with action, and assistance as they can. If you know of anything, any program, that will help this kind and loving lady, let us know. I will gladly accept messages and pass on information. Linda
