Often I share a lot I get here in Adland, or in some of my books with others in my teams, so why not - I can copy and read it -and send out.

The changes you have made to the website are very good and I believe it is a much better presentation to the viewer. As a viewer, I went from seeing a site that was just a link for someone to get a discount for the referral to being presented with content from a business point of view. I know you wanted to add an interest grabber to the content, I believe you did but I'm not sure its for the better in my opinion. It's kinda like using one misfortune to benefit someone else. In any case, this thread is not about content. Right? I found that once I realized I was viewing a new website inside a frame I was turned-off by the site. No offence intended here, just my reaction. Botton line, it's a big improvement.

Hi FJ; ========== The changes you have made to the website are very good and I believe it is a much better presentation to the viewer. ========== Thanks. I agree. Primarily, people can now see a little about the person behind the site instead of just seeing an ad. And, it inspires people to help needy kids given the low prices. The biggest bonuses of the site, of course, are (1) the ability to build a mailing list and (2) the free book that will help create awareness for needy kids and how people can help them even on a low, low budget. ======== I found that once I realized I was viewing a new website inside a frame I was turned-off by the site. No offence intended here, just my reaction. ======== No offense taken at all. See, if I asked 100 people if they know what frames are, over 85% (maybe higher) wouldn't know. As such, you're the exception not the rule. While I do acknowledge the exceptions, I work based on the majority. You've also struck something that really blows my mind. SO, SO many corporations want their resellers to resell online, but do NOT give them the tools to do it. The more savvy ones give an affiliate link such as reseller.parentco.com or parentco.com/reseller. The less savvy ones expect people to remember and type in a key or name or id. I suspect many of these corporations have some IT person that's never sold a darn thing online telling them how to do their website - and it shows. They just dispense their crappy advice and collect their pay every two weeks. I've been looking to find just ONE parent company that allows resellers to feed in products with SSI or PHP so they can sell directly from their own site. I haven't found that yet, in any of them. Doesn't much matter whether it's health beverages, clothing, books -- nor whether it's network marketing or straight affiliate sales on one tier -- the big boys don't get it. They don't know how to help their resellers sell. However - with decent programming knowledge - we can program around it. We can bring a site in under a frame, or redirect a url, or whatever we need to do. But yes, it's all working around the shortcomings of the parent companies and the way they cripple their sellers online. ;) Linda
