The advice you posted is very sound, and should be followed when possible.
Now I am going to give a little advice that will not sound Christ Like, but people may want to consider.
In the State of Texas a person can obtain a concealed handgun permit and legealy carry a weapon on their person.
I suggest that women that carry their purses and have a permit, carry their gun in their purse and have their hand on the gun in their purse. I would suggest that it should be a revolver where all they have to do is pull the trigger to fire it.
When confronted, don't take the gun out of the purse as it will eliminate the element of suprise. If necessary shot first and don't stop until the attacker is on the ground.
They just passed another law in the State of Texas which permits people to legally carry a gun in their car. A permit is not required for this.
Now, I know that there will be many that will say "You are taking the law in your own hands". "Thou shalt not kill and many other things."
But that is OK!
It is their opinion!
