Please look at my website - will it work ?
9/30/2005 1:31:55 PM
I would appreciate people’s feedback – do you think that my website http://www.artnet-info.com will be suitable to attract people to join my program? What is the best way to promote the website so that people can find it ? I have looked at many of the “a trillion ads fro free” kind of things but I don’t trust them. Any comments and recommendations would be highly appreciated. Thanks very much. Max ma@artne-info.com

Hello ArtNet, I took a moment to look at the site. I try not to get too critical when I look at sites of otheres but the first thing I look for is how it GRABS me. I didn't feel excited to want to learn more or to look further. As I looked at the other pages I again did not feel excited. When I clicked the back button on the Giclee description page it was directed to the front bage instead of where I was previously. Sites are alot of work and time consuming. I commend you for your work you put in. Just need to redesign with EXCITEMENT. Wish you the best. Kenneth R Sword Jr

Some ideas for your site.

Well, I'd like to suggest that you try webmaster forums for a review of your site. freesticky.com has one such forum. that is, http://www.webdevforums.com you can do a search for more webmaster forums on search engines. You'll need someone who can be brutally honest with you about your site. I too had put together a site and had it reviewed. I was given this checklist of items one needs to follow when putting together a website. That is at this link, http://www.freewebs.com/homebusinesstips/successfulsites.htm About promoting your site, you mentioned free ads. Well, free ads are free for certain reasons. Like the little exposure that they get. You'll then have to make up for that through smart advertising. Here is a guide on how to go about your free advertising. You can access that at this link, http://www.freewebs.com/homebusinesstips/index.htm thanks to Johan. A fellow network marketer. You could also check out Corey Rudls 10 no cost methods of driving traffic to your site at this link, http://www.freewebs.com/homebusinesstips/sitetraffic.htm Good luck in your endeavours

HERES! http://www.dreamthoughts.net SO what up no sells! dreamthough ------------------- Kenneth's sidenote ------------------- ms. Carrie Poulsen is asking for comments to her site as to why no sales. My first observation is that I identify the products from SMC. As for marketing, a website alone will not do it. The products will need to be talked about (blog will do this), benefits of ownership need to be the key way to promote these types of items. The items I saw are what is known as impulse items. They are more easily sold on a shelf where a person can touch, pick it up and say oh, that's nice and buy it. Real hard to sell on the internet. SMC also mentions this as part of their flea marketing stratagy. Blend targeted ads to individual items with articles in a blog and that might help some. Happy Thanksgiving. Kenneth
