Hello Glenn,
First of all do you believe in God - I pray that you do! I think that you need to have alot more faith in God and pray that things will change and I know you will see a huge difference in your life!
Secondly, you need to have a different mindset then you have now. You need to think more POSITIVELY! I know that it is hard to do when you are in the situation that you are in, but what I am hearing from you is negativity. You are depressed and feeling badly about the situation you are in and it is not a good situation...but my friend it could be worse...much worse!!
Turn every bad or negative into a positive! Even though you are in the shelter...say thank God I have a bed to sleep in, a roof over my head, food in my stomach and warm clothes on my back. Think of all the other people in the world that don't even have what you have! People in Africa are dying of starvation everyday, homeless people have no bed or place to sleep except the ground...and they have to search for food in garbage cans. Think about the people that lived in Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina....did you hear about that? People lost everything they owned...some lost their lives too!
My Brother...thank God you have what you have and start having a positive mindset and then when you look for a job people will see a person with a much better and different attitude. Believe me,things change once you think with a positive mind!
I have a few other forums here about Positive Thinking...please check them out and read them. Read the Positive Affirmations forum and do the exercises I talk about there! If you would like me to help you work on this I will. Let's start on changing the way you think first.
