Hi Kathy, Wonderful job of educating the community. Which I must say is sorely needed as society has a tendenacy to minimize the effects of EMOTIONAL /PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE as opposed to other kinds of abuse such as Physical abuse. For most, unless they have experienced emotional or psychological abuse do not comprehend the depths of the 'Invisible' scars. Your a dearheart for helping to create more awareness of this subject. And like I said, don't sweat tomorrow, God takes care of his angels!

Kathy, As you said it is a very touchy subject, one which will be a topic of many TV Talk Shows and unfortunately a part of the fabric of our society until we as a people learn to live peacefully with each other. Good luck with the answers Kathy, some of us are brutes whom need God in their lives, some of us are sheep whom need to learn to be a bit stern, and the rest of us are just observers, whom need to learn how to lend a hand especially when lives are in the balance. Respectfully, Manuel D.

Kathy, Once again your post nailed the issue dead on. This is a pervasive issue in our culture and one that is not addressed often enough. In addition, it's sad that the victims often suffer in silence; too ashamed to tell even their best friends. Thanks for showing a bright light on this issue. Dave
