it's smart looking, Bur for a poker site perhaps a more related illustration would help. Or if you prefer a bit of glitz:) some animations maybe? something that says poker! gambling! the excitement! Casino! Money! Good start! Claude

Hi Robert, Thanks for asking for my input. Along with all of the above ideas, I believe you need some headlines < h2> < /h2>that attract attention to what you are trying to say in the next paragraph. Maybe use < center> < /center> tags to break up the squared off appearance. Use colors to bring the headlines to life and make it attractive to read. Gambling and casino activity is about excitement. Make your page appear exciting and make people want to check out what you are trying to promote. Make sure you have good mechanics in your grammar and the subject/verb relationships should be the same. If your subject is singular then the verb should be also. You are wise to learn the workings of a website. HTML is not very forgiving so you may want to use MS Word or Corel WordPerfect as a start for your writings. Then use the spell checker and grammar checker to make sure you have it mechanically accurate. Then just copy and paste the words to your html editor at your web host. The mechanical mistakes make a website look unprofessional. I hope I wasn't too harsh with my critique. The html tags I showed above have spaces in them so they will show up on the page. If I had written them correctly, I would have had headlines and centered text here but you wouldn't know what to use. Take out the spaces and they will work for you. Try to experiment a little and see what you can do with them. If you want to learn a bit more about HTML then you may want to visit Greer Trumble's forums. The ideas that you are trying to convey are there. You just need to work on the English and grammar a bit. Peace and prosperity to you and yours, Leon Horton

Thanks Sherri For the offer to proof read my site I will have my soon to wife do it she very good at spelling and grammer. I have never been good with it myself. It was hard at times in college with all the papers I had to write I always had to have someone correct my spelling and such. Its good to have some many good friends here to help on ideas with my site. Am sure that with all the changes I make it will turn out to be very good. Robert Phillips
