That last one you posted is my house in the Texas hill country! :-)
Just joking...but I wouldn't be surprised that it's in the hill country of Texas, which by the way is a very pretty area.
I'm about 2 hours north of where the hill country starts, & it's always a great little weekend trip that I take in the spring when all the Texas wild flowers are blooming. You can see roadsides and hills just covered with all sorts of spring flowers, including the famous blue bonnets that blanket the roadsides and byways.
The hill country also has some nice scenery during other times of the year, though anywhere in Texas during the month of August is so hot you could fry eggs on the pavement (& probably cook bacon as well!)
