Hi Jo,
I realize that lots of people have LOTS more than 7 friends who are all tied for First Place in their hearts!
I'll make my own list from important "people" in my life:
1. My parents old poodle dog Suzy
2. My stuffed frog Oliver, had him when I was a child, he was about 2-feet high (two-thirds of a meter for you Europeans!) and wore blue denim overalls, and was chewed by the poodle dog, Suzy
3. My 5th grade nun, Sister Miriam Margaret, if I was ever going to change my name, I'd change it to Miriam
4. My brother, Rick. I can tell him anything and he never flinches.
5. My nephew, Richard (brother Rick's son) I call him Cousin Richard because he's too d*mn old to call me "Aunt". He's 32 now. He lived in our parents house for about 6 months when he was 3 and I was 11, I'll never forget my temporary "little brother" and was sad he went back to his Mom and became my nephew again.
6. My Mom, lifelong major goofball. I'll never forget she was really mad that her afternoon show was interrupted by the news in January 1981 when the hostages were released from Iran. I think she's still mad to have missed the break in the storyline of "Guiding Light" about Alan and Amanda and her mother, what was her first name? Mrs. Wexler.
7. My brother Michael, I'm the only one who calls him Michael instead of Mike, because he's named after an archangel. He once told me he thinks about all of us every day, (all of us from our family, not you guys!) I KNOW THAT, but nobody has ever said it, why state the obvious? But it was great to hear!!
