Kiss Per Yard

Walking up to a department store's fabric counter, a pretty girl asked, "I want to buy this material for a new dress. How much does it cost?"

"Only one kiss per yard," replied the smirking male clerk.

"That's fine," replied the girl. "I'll take ten yards."

With expectation and anticipation written all over his face, the clerk quickly measured out and wrapped the cloth, then teasingly held it out.

The girl snapped up the package and pointed to a little old man standing beside her. "Grandpa will pay the bill," she smiled.

This job hunter must have been a blonde. :)

Darla had applied for a job and when she returned home,
her mother asked how the interview went.

"Pretty good, I think," replied Darla, "but if I go to work
there I won't get a vacation until I'm married."

Her mother, of course, had never heard of such a thing.
"Is that what they told you?"

"No", replied Darla, "but right on the application it said
'vacation time may not be taken until you've had your
First Anniversary.'

.

A gushy reporter told Jack Nicklaus, "You are spectacular, your name is synonymous with the game of golf. You really know your way around the course. What's your secret?"

Nicklaus replied, "The holes are numbered".

Caution about drinking and driving .......

I would like to share an experience with you all about drinking and driving. As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes with the law on our way home from the odd social session over the years.
A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends and had a few too many beers and some rather nice Merlot. Knowing full well that I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done before - I took a bus home.
I arrived home safely and without incident, which was a real surprise, as I have never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got this one.
