Hi Kathleen,

We all know of parks like that and have to make our choices. Yet, the beauty of joking about it makes it more bearable. The sad part is that not only the parks are dangerous for law abiding citizens to walk aroun in and that's the sad part.

but it hits close to home, my neighborhood is very near a "target area", the local park had 40 reports of muggings/assaults this year but probably mostly between teenagers because most of them cut thru there to go to school, and also play basketball and that's the shortcut for a couple of stores and pizza & ice cream places. I think most ladies are packing pepper spray and a debit card tucked into their undergarments, wouldn't wanna save 3 minutes by walking AROUND the park instead of going THRU it....that beer & ice cream won't wait for scaredy cats.

I couldn't resist posting this wonderful Burger King commercial after I found the lyrics...this was only played on TV in a very short version several years ago, for a very short time, I wonder why! The singer is Darius Rucker from a very popular band in the 1990's, Hootie & The Blowfish...this is great :)
