RE: The President That Hates His Country By Joan Swirsky

Hey Rick,

Thanks for a very interesting article. B Hussein has shown time and again his disdain for the Judeo/Christian beliefs and that he only respects the book written by the so called prophet and known pedophile mohammad. His support for the muslim brotherhood, jihadi terrorists and other psychopaths is well known and documented.

David Barton's article shows many examples that many might not be aware of and could possibly open a few minds to the disaster that B Hussein was, is and will continue to be during the next 4 catastrophic years.

Shalom,

Peter

Hey Peter and Friends,

David Barton has compiled this list of transgression that our Chief Proponnent of MUSLIM Belief has made against the Catholics, Christians and Jews while Giving our Treasures, Money and Goodwill to His Major Supporters as well as Butchers of the World the Muslims whose default position is that of MURDER.

This annotated study will likely warm the hearts and minds of the many here that supported Obama. It may also serve to educate many that did so because they drank the hemlock and their minds are dead to common reason. They might also figure out which direction our country is headed and what that Entitlement will be worth in the future.

Presently it appears as though Obama wishes to eliminate gun ownership by common citizens while publically stating that he wants to eliminate all atomic bombs. One question comes to mind, In a time when Russia, China Iran and other terrorist nations are rapidly building up their military and such weapons is it wise for us to cut our military and full employment possibility's because Obama obviously favors the destruction of our country? You may disagree but do you trust the know "Evil Do'ers of the world?

Enough of that! HERE is David Barton's accounting of Obama Screwing The Historical Religions of The American Peoples.

America’s Most Biblically-Hostile U. S. President
David Barton - 02/29/2012
America’s Most Biblically-Hostile U. S. President

When one observes President Obama’s unwillingness to accommodate America’s four-century long religious conscience protection through his attempts to require Catholics to go against their own doctrines and beliefs, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Catholic. But that characterization would not be correct. Although he has recently singled out Catholics, he has equally targeted traditional Protestant beliefs over the past four years. So since he has attacked Catholics and Protestants, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Christian. But that, too, would be inaccurate. He has been equally disrespectful in his appalling treatment of religious Jews in general and Israel in particular. So perhaps the most accurate description of his antipathy toward Catholics, Protestants, religious Jews, and the Jewish nation would be to characterize him as anti-Biblical. And then when his hostility toward Biblical people of faith is contrasted with his preferential treatment of Muslims and Muslim nations, it further strengthens the accuracy of the anti-Biblical descriptor. In fact, there have been numerous clearly documented times when his pro-Islam positions have been the cause of his anti-Biblical actions.

Listed below in chronological order are (1) numerous records of his attacks on Biblical persons or organizations; (2) examples of the hostility toward Biblical faith that have become evident in the past three years in the Obama-led military; (3) a listing of his open attacks on Biblical values; and finally (4) a listing of numerous incidents of his preferential deference for Islam’s activities and positions, including letting his Islamic advisors guide and influence his hostility toward people of Biblical faith.

1. Acts of hostility toward people of Biblical faith:

  • April 2008 – Obama speaks disrespectfully of Christians, saying they “cling to guns or religion” and have an “antipathy to people who aren't like them.” 1

  • February 2009 – Obama announces plans to revoke conscience protection for health workers who refuse to by Coupon Companion Plugin">participate in medical activities that go against their beliefs, and fully implements the plan in February 2011. 2

  • April 2009 – When speaking at Georgetown University, Obama orders that a monogram symbolizing Jesus' name be covered when he is making his speech. 3

  • May 2009 – Obama declines to by Coupon Companion Plugin">host services for the National Prayer Day (a day established by federal law) at the White House. 4

  • April 2009 – In a deliberate act of disrespect, Obama nominated three pro-abortion ambassadors to the Vatican; of course, the pro-life Vatican rejected all three. 5

  • October 19, 2010 – Obama begins deliberately omitting the phrase about “the Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence – an omission he has made on no less than seven occasions. 6

  • November 2010 – Obama misquotes the National Motto, saying it is “E pluribus unum” rather than “In God We Trust” as established by federal law. 7

  • January 2011 – After a federal law was passed to transfer a WWI Memorial in the Mojave Desert to private ownership, the U. S. Supreme Court ruled that the cross in the memorial could by Coupon Companion Plugin">continue to stand, but the Obama administration refused to allow the land to be transferred as required by law, and refused to allow the cross to be re-erected as ordered by the Court. 8

  • February 2011 – Although he filled posts in the State Department, for more than two years Obama did not fill the post of religious freedom ambassador, an official that works against religious persecution across the world; he filled it only after heavy pressure from the public and from Congress. 9

  • April 2011 – For the first time in American history, Obama urges passage of a non-discrimination law that does not contain by Coupon Companion Plugin">hiring protections for religious groups, forcing religious organizations to hire according to federal mandates without regard to the dictates of their own faith, thus eliminating conscience protection in hiring. 10

  • August 2011 – The Obama administration releases its new health care rules that override religious conscience protections for medical workers in the areas of abortion and contraception. 11

  • November 2011 – Obama opposes inclusion of President Franklin Roosevelt’s famous D-Day Prayer in the WWII Memorial. 12

  • November 2011 – Unlike previous presidents, Obama studiously avoids any religious references in his Thanksgiving speech. 13

  • December 2011 – The Obama administration denigrates other countries' religious beliefs as an obstacle to radical homosexual rights. 14

  • January 2012 – The Obama administration argues that the First Amendment provides no protection for churches and synagogues in hiring their pastors and rabbis. 15

  • February 2012 – The Obama administration forgives student loans in exchange for public service, but announces it will no longer forgive student loans if the public service is related to religion. 16

2. Acts of hostility from the Obama-led military toward people of Biblical faith:

  • June 2011 – The Department of Veterans Affairs forbids references to God and Jesus during burial ceremonies at Houston National Cemetery. 17

  • August 2011 – The Air Force stops teaching the Just War theory to officers in California because the course is taught by chaplains and is based on a philosophy introduced by St. Augustine in the third century AD – a theory long taught by civilized nations across the world (except America). 18

  • September 2011 – Air Force Chief of Staff prohibits commanders from notifying airmen of programs and services available to them from chaplains. 19

  • September 2011 – The Army issues guidelines for Walter Reed Medical Center stipulating that “No religious items (i.e. Bibles, reading materials and/or facts) are allowed to be given away or used during a visit.” 20

  • November 2011 – The Air Force Academy rescinds support for Operation Christmas Child, a program to send holiday gifts to impoverished children across the world, because the program is run by a Christian charity. 21

  • November 2011 – The Air Force Academy pays $80,000 to add a Stonehenge-like worship center for pagans, druids, witches and Wiccans. 22

  • February 2012 – The U. S. Military Academy at West Point disinvites three star Army general and decorated war hero Lieutenant General William G. (“Jerry”) Boykin (retired) from speaking at an event because he is an outspoken Christian. 23

  • February 2012 – The Air Force removes “God” from the patch of Rapid Capabilities Office (the word on the patch was in Latin: Dei). 24

  • February 2012 – The Army orders Catholic chaplains not to read a letter to parishioners that their archbishop asked them to read. 25

  • April 2012 – A checklist for Air Force Inns will no longer include ensuring that a Bible is available in rooms for those who want to use them.26

  • May 2012 - The Obama administration opposes legislation to protect the rights of conscience for military chaplains who do not wish to perform same-sex marriages in violation of their strongly-held religious beliefs.27

  • June 2012 - Bibles for the American military have been printed in every conflict since the American Revolution, but the Obama Administration revokes the long-standing U. S. policy of allowing military service emblems to be placed on those military Bibles.28

3. Acts of hostility toward Biblical values:

  • January 2009 – Obama lifts restrictions on U.S. government funding for groups that provide abortion services or counseling abroad, forcing taxpayers to fund pro-abortion groups that either promote or perform abortions in other nations. 29

  • January 2009 – President Obama’s nominee for deputy secretary of state asserts that American taxpayers are required to pay for abortions and that limits on abortion funding are unconstitutional. 30

  • March 2009 – The Obama administration shut out pro-life groups from attending a White House-sponsored health care summit. 31

  • March 2009 – Obama orders taxpayer funding of embryonic stem cell research. 32

  • March 2009 – Obama gave $50 million for the UNFPA, the UN population agency that promotes abortion and works closely with Chinese population control officials who use forced abortions and involuntary sterilizations. 33

  • May 2009 – The White House budget eliminates all funding for abstinence-only education and replaces it with “comprehensive” sexual education, repeatedly proven to increase teen pregnancies and abortions. 34 He continues the deletion in subsequent budgets. 35

  • May 2009 – Obama officials assemble a terrorism dictionary calling pro-life advocates violent and charging that they use racism in their “criminal” activities. 36

  • July 2009 – The Obama administration illegally extends federal benefits to same-sex partners of Foreign Service and Executive Branch employees, in direction violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act. 37

  • September 16, 2009 – The Obama administration appoints as EEOC Commissioner Chai Feldblum, who asserts that society should “not tolerate” any “private beliefs,” including religious beliefs, if they may negatively affect homosexual “equality.” 38

  • July 2010 – The Obama administration uses federal funds in violation of federal law to get Kenya to change its constitution to include abortion. 39

  • August 2010 – The Obama administration Cuts funding for 176 abstinence education programs. 40

  • September 2010 – The Obama administration tells researchers to ignore a judge’s decision striking down federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. 41

  • February 2011 – Obama directs the Justice Department to stop defending the federal Defense of Marriage Act. 42

  • March 2011 – The Obama administration refuses to investigate videos showing Planned Parenthood helping alleged sex traffickers get abortions for victimized underage girls. 43

  • July 2011 – Obama allows homosexuals to serve openly in the military, reversing a policy originally instituted by George Washington in March 1778. 44

  • September 2011 – The Pentagon directs that military chaplains may perform same-sex marriages at military facilities in violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act. 45

  • October 2011 – The Obama administration eliminates federal grants to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for their extensive programs that aid victims of human trafficking because the Catholic Church is anti-abortion. 46

4. Acts of preferentialism for Islam:

  • May 2009 – While Obama does not host any National Day of Prayer event at the White House, he does host White House Iftar dinners in honor of Ramadan. 47

  • April 2010 – Christian leader Franklin Graham is disinvited from the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer Event because of complaints from the Muslim community. 48

  • April 2010 – The Obama administration requires rewriting of government documents and a change in administration vocabulary to remove terms that are deemed offensive to Muslims, including jihad, jihadists, terrorists, radical Islamic, etc. 49

  • August 2010 – Obama speaks with great praise of Islam and condescendingly of Christianity. 50

  • August 2010 – Obama went to great lengths to speak out on multiple occasions on behalf of building an Islamic mosque at Ground Zero, while at the same time he was silent about a Christian church being denied permission to rebuild at that location. 51

  • 2010 – While every White House traditionally issues hundreds of official proclamations and statements on numerous occasions, this White House avoids traditional Biblical holidays and events but regularly recognizes major Muslim holidays, as evidenced by its 2010 statements on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha. 52

  • October 2011 – Obama’s Muslim advisers block Middle Eastern Christians’ access to the White House. 53

  • February 2012 – The Obama administration makes effulgent apologies for Korans being burned by the U. S. military, 54 but when Bibles were burned by the military, numerous reasons were offered why it was the right thing to do. 55

Many of these actions are literally unprecedented – this is the first time they have happened in four centuries of American history. The hostility of President Obama toward Biblical faith and values is without equal from any previous American president.

Hello Friends,

I have to laugh when I read all the drivel the progressive liberal groups crying over the simple fact that entrepreneurs live extravagantly and demand that they be taxed more regardless of the fact that they pay the majority of the taxes in the United States. That of course includes those that live off the "dime" and hard work of those 1% plus all the hard working middle class who pay taxes while so many of the chronic complainers pay no taxes at all but never cease to complain and demand more freebies.

These same people consider the fraud and great pretender B Hussein their savior and expect him to give them more then they already receive without working and or benefiting the society that supports them in any way manner or form.

Well, all you freebie lovers and addicted benefit demanders your savior and his family cost the country over $1.4 billion last year. I don't believe any of the 1% ers live like that yet B Hussein thinks the country should support his extravagant lifestyle. It's about time that you all wake up to the fact that this disgusting excuse of a president is doing his damnest to destroy America and live high on the hog while he's doing it.

Just as a point of interest the British spent $58 million on the Royal family last year. Also an exorbitant amount of money but compared to B Hussein's expenses a drop inn the bucket.

You can read all about it in the below article.

Shalom,

Peter

Annual Cost to Taxpayers for Obama Family is $1.4 Billion

Hello Friends,

Here's the video I mentioned in an earlier post with Ben Shapiro and the idiot Piers Morgan. This young guy is very smart and explained in words that Piers' can understand what a fraud and idiot he truly is.

The article is an interesting one and the video is well worth watching.

Shalom,

Peter

‘How Dare You’: Conservative Author Confronts Piers Morgan on Exploiting Newtown, Hands Him a Constitution in Tense Interview

Conservative author and Breitbart editor-at-large Ben Shapiro on Thursday accused CNN’s Piers Morgan of “standing on the graves of the children” who died in Newtown, Conn. in his opposition to guns.

“Honestly Piers, you’ve kind of been a bully on this issue,” Shapiro said on “Piers Morgan Tonight.” “You tend to demonize people who differ from you politically by standing on the graves of the children of Sandy Hook, saying they don’t seem to care enough about the dead kids, if they cared more about the dead kids they would agree with you on policy.”

Morgan, who has been at the forefront of the anti-gun argument on his show, reacted with outrage, repeatedly asking Shapiro, “How dare you?”

“How dare you accuse me of standing on the graves of children that died there, how dare you?” he asked.

“I’ve seen you do it repeatedly, Piers,” Shapiro said.

“Like I say, how dare you,” Morgan repeated.

“Well, I mean, you can keep saying that, but you’ve done it repeatedly,” Shapiro replied. “What you do, and I’ve seen you do it on your program, is you keep saying to folks if they disagree with you politically, then somehow this is a violation of what happened in Sandy Hook.”

Then, taking out a pocket-sized Constitution, Shapiro handed it to Morgan and said he’d like to hear his policy ideas for guns.

“I’ve brought this here for you so you can read it,” he said. “I would really like for you to explain to me what you would do about guns that would have prevented what happened at Sandy Hook.”

Morgan responded that he would like to do the same thing that Mark Kelly, husband of former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, would like to do, which is take away assault weapons. Shapiro pointed out that the majority of gun deaths in United States are caused by handguns, prompting Morgan to run down the recent shootings in Newtown, the Aurora movie theater, the Oregon shopping mall and in New York with the firefighters around Christmas, asking which weapons were used.

“The last four mass shootings in America were with assault rifles…that’s the reason, Mr. Shapiro,” Morgan said. “You can smirk at me and you can laugh at me, and you can accuse me of standing on the graves of dead children, but that’s the reason that people like me and Mark Kelly and Gabrielle Giffords want to have assault weapons like that removed from civilian hands.”

Shapiro responded that Morgan’s “passion on the issue doesn’t really justify the rationale for why you want to ban assault weapons.”

Watch the full 14-minute interaction below:

Hey Peter and friends,

It seems the deeper we get into the rehash of this site the harder it is getting to find our favorite threads!

I ran into this page for you all to check out!

Congressional Report Lists 36 Pages of Obama’s Crimes

Ben Johnson, Floyd Reports

Congressman Darrell Issa has produced a shocking new report detailing the Obama administration’s extensive use of taxpayer-funded propaganda, which he says breaks federal law. The report created for the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform details how the former Alinskyite community organizer has channeled the resources of the federal government — that is, your money — to create “a sophisticated propaganda and lobbying campaign” made up of “inappropriate and sometimes unlawful public relations and propaganda initiatives.” The highlights include:

  • Using federal arts grants to spread Obama’s legislative message. Last August 10, administration officials held a conference call with National Endowment of the Arts grant recipients. Buffy Wicks, a college radical who worked in Valerie Jarrett‘s Office of Public Engagement, told the invitees, “we’re going to come at you with some specific ‘asks’ here,” specifically supporting Obama’s initiatives on health care, the environment, or energy. She suggested, “We wanted folks to connect…with federal agencies, with labor unions, progressive groups, face groups [faith groups, perhaps?], women’s groups, you name it.” Within 48 hours, no fewer than 21 arts organizations released a statement endorsing ObamaCare.
  • The Dept. of Health and Human Services paid MIT economist Jonathan Gruber nearly $400,000 for various jobs. He did not disclose his employment by HHS while writing a string of op-eds, nor while testifying before the Senate in favor of, ObamaCare.
  • The Justice Dept. hired Tracy Russo, the former blogger for John Edwards, to comment on internet articles or bulletin board messages that criticized Barack Obama and his agenda. She did this anonymously or used a pen name.
  • A Dept. of Education officer used the White House email to send his colleagues eight bullet points to “communicate the merits of the President’s proposal with your members and their audiences.”
  • Andy Griffith starred in a Medicare “update” that doubled as a commercial for Obama’s health care legislation. Not only is the PSAl propaganda, it is erroneous. A writer with the nonpartisan FactCheck.org remarked Griffith’s scripted “promise that ‘benefits will remain the same’ is just as fictional as the town of Mayberry.”
  • The White House routinely drove traffic to websites that lobby for Obama’s legislation.

Issa cites three separate federal statutes violated by the Obama administration and has called for a Government Accountability Office (GAO) to launch an investigation. If violations of the law are found, impeachment could follow.

It’s not bad enough the president is a megalomaniac who skirts the law to foist his far-Left agenda on the American people — he also uses your money to do it.

At least eight deaths were reported in the Suez Governorate late Friday, as well as one death in Ismailia, according to medical and security sources in the area, after protests there turned violent on the day marking the 25 January 2011 uprising, where the first martyr also fell in Suez.

Reports say armed forces have been deployed in Suez to secure strategic institutions. Armed Personnel Carriers and army vehicles were sighted in the governorate.

Sources told Al-Masry Al-Youm that six protesters and two security forces have been killed in the clashes. Officials also said 280 people have been injured in the city, according to Reuters.

There are also reports of a death in Ismailia, raising the death toll to nine in two governorates.

The Health Ministry has reported only seven deaths, and more than 450 injuries in separate governorates.

There were calls for major protests in Upper Egypt, Nile Delta and the North Coast, including the governorates of Aswan, Qena, the Red Sea, Assiut, Minya, Gharbiya, Kafr al-Sheikh, Damietta, Daqahlia, Suez and Alexandria.

By mid-afternoon, protests quickly turned violent in cities across the nation.

Numerous injuries have been reported nationwide and clashes are ongoing in Suez, Alexandria and in Cairo's Tahrir Square.

Hundreds of protesters stormed the front gate of the Kafr al-Sheikh Governorate headquarters on Friday evening. They demanded that the head of the governorate's security directorate hand over the building completely, or they would escalate their actions.

The protesters said a revolutionary committee would take control of the directorate.

They also demanded that Kafr al-Sheikh Governor Saad al-Husseiny, the FJP's former MP of the dissolved Parliament, step down, and chanted anti-Brotherhood slogans.

Meanwhile in Suez Governorate, 12 police officers were injured in the ongoing clashes between protesters and security forces, said Suez Security Directorate head Major General Adel Refaat.

Clashes continue to escalate in the area on Friday evening, as police forces fire barrages of tear gas canisters and protesters set fire to car tires.

Earlier in the day thousands flocked to Arbaeen Square after Friday prayers, chanting slogans against the Brotherhood. Heightened security measures were implemented around government institutions there.

The protests quickly turned violent when hundreds of demonstrators allegedly tried to storm the governorate headquarters in the afternoon, pelting security forces with rocks. Police responded by firing tear gas canisters into the crowd.

Hit-and-run operations between the two sides continued throughout the day outside the municipal building and in the surrounding streets.

Demonstrators chanted, "Bread, freedom, the president lost legitimacy," and held banners reading: "Two years since the revolution, and Egypt still needs another revolution," "The Brotherhood gave up the cause," and "The revolution continues."

Dozens stormed the FJP office in Damanhur, capital of Beheira Governorate in the Delta. Protesters smashed the contents of the office and tore down its banner, then hurled stones at the Central Security Forces to prevent them from approaching.

Hundreds of protesters also clashed with security forces near President Mohamed Morsy's home in Sharqiya on Friday afternoon. Protesters hurled Molotov cocktails and rocks at the police, who responded with tear gas.

Violence also broke out in Ismailia when hundreds stormed the FJP's headquarters in Ismailia City. They reportedly destroyed the office's entrance, then ripped apart the furniture and computers and threw them into the street.

Security forces fired tear gas to disperse the protesters, causing some to be hospitalized for suffocation.

In Beni Suef Governorate, protesters blocked the railways, causing a complete halt of train traffic between Cairo and Aswan. Similar incidents occurred in Gharbiya Governorate, in the cities of Mahalla and Kafr al-Zayat.

After Friday prayers in North Sinai's Arish City, hundreds gathered in front of Al-Refaei Mosque to demand the fall of the regime and the Muslim Brotherhood's supreme guide.

Protesters chanted against President Mohamed Morsy and the Brotherhood, proclaiming that the revolution would continue until the goals of the revolution are achieved. They condemned the government's alleged "begging and resorting to Qatar."

Islamist forces began to clash with the protesters, until bystanders intervened and convinced the Brotherhood supporters to leave the mosque.

Protests also transformed into violent confrontations in Alexandria Governorate by Friday afternoon.

Ambulances have transferred dozens of injured protesters to hospitals from the area surrounding the Kom al-Dikka municipality building.

Security forces have been engaged in violent combat with protesters there, who were allegedly trying to storm the municipal building. Reported injuries include suffocation from heavy clouds of tear gas fired by the Central Security Forces and wounds resulting from stone throwing battles. There are also reports of birdshot injuries.

Attacks and retreats between police and protesters continue in the streets surrounding the building.

Also in Alexandria Governorate, in Manshiya, hundreds of protesters reportedly besieged the court complex. Al-Ahram reported that gun shots were heard inside the complex. Security forces have been stationed around the area.

Protesters also allegedly tried to storm the Manshiya Police Station, Al-Ahram said. They hurled stones while police, trapped on the building's roof, fired gunshots into the air.

Earlier this afternoon in Alexandria, masked protesters stopped the trams as they prepared to set the stage for a mass demonstration. The protesters identified themselves as the "Ultras Freedom Eagles," and said this was just the first of many escalating actions they would take today. There were about 10 of the protesters, each wearing black masks. They used traffic control barricades to block the tram lines.

Another group of masked protesters dressed in black also blocked the corniche in Alexandria, forcing traffic to reroute.

A similar group calling itself the Black Bloc made its first appearance in Cairo on Thursday. They appeared in black outfits and masks, and clashed with police forces at Qasr al-Aini Street. The group stated that it would target the police if they used violence against protesters.

A number of political forces announced an open-ended sit-in in Al-Khaledien Garden in front of the Al-Qaed Ibrahim Mosque in Alexandria to demand the fall of the regime, and denounce what they called the Brotherhoodization of state. The Congress Party, Tagammu Party and other political movements are participating.

Protesters set up two tents, claiming that there numbers would increase after prayers. They stressed they would not break up their sit-in before their demands are met.

Dozens gathered outside the mosque to check the ID cards of those coming to join the sit-in. An ambulance was present, but as of Friday morning there were no police in the area.

Sources close to Sheikh Ahmed al-Mahalawy, the mosque's imam, said Mahalawy would not deliver Friday sermon because he is recovering from mouth surgery. Furthermore, the source said, Mahalawy had wanted to deliver the sermon, but some advised him not to in order to prevent clashes.

A number of activists and political forces in Alexandria announced on Facebook they would stage several protests and marches, including a march from Sharq al-Madina Mosque opposite the Two Saints Church, and a march from Bakous district.

Elsewhere, three different marches from different areas in Ismailia arrived at the central Mamar Square this afternoon. Protesters chanted, "Down with the supreme guide's rule" and "people want to topple the regime."

In Mansoura, the capital of Daqahlia Governorate, six marches kicked off after Friday prayers. Hundreds of protesters chanted against the regime and demanded immediate policy reform, particularly concerning the economy.

The Dostour, Strong Egypt, Nasr and Popular Current parties led four marches, while the April 6 Youth Movement and the Revolutionary Socialists led the other two, chanting "one hand." The atmosphere became tense when one march passed a Muslim Brotherhood-sponsored fair handing out food to celebrate the revolution.

"We are here today to celebrate the anniversary of the revolution, and make it clear to the government that things are still as they were before the revolution," said Ayman al-Diasty, chief of the April 6's media committee.

All six marches converged at the Martyrs' Square in the center of Mansoura by 4:30 pm, joining almost 3,000 protesters who were already in place.

Dr. Mohamed Ghoniem, a well-known surgeon and founder of the Ghoniem Nephrology Center, refused to give a speech, saying: “We’re all here today as equals, and we all know the purpose of our presence.”

The surrounding protesters cheered and chanted, “The people want to bring down the regime."

However, protesters in the square did engage in a debate about their actual goal — whether it was the complete fall of the regime, or just the dissolution of the Cabinet, which could be replaced with a technocratic one.

“The liberals still don’t have a candidate for the presidential post,” said Mohamed Adel, an activist. He claimed that even if the Brotherhood did step down from power, they would end up being reelected, as the majority of the people weren't informed about other options.

Protester Nada Tarek discussed the results of the presidential election, saying "Hamdeen Sabbahi and [Abdel Moneim] Abouel Fotouh both got a lot of votes. I'm not saying that we have to elect one of them, but I’m trying to clarify that when the people have the choice now that they know how the Brotherhood acts when in charge, they will make sure to take the right decision.”

The debate was interrupted by more chants as protesters prepared to divide into two groups to march through Mansoura again.
