Hi Peter, very interesting. Numbers don't lie, do they. I know there are those who probably laugh when I say I have a bad feeling when it comes to Ron Paul, but I felt the same way about Obama and look where he's taken this country in the last three years. Just like with Obama, I feel a foreboding in regards to Ron Paul. I call it woman's intuition because I very much doubt I'm psychic.

I certainly hope that everyone will realize that if Paul runs as a third party candidate, that ensures Obama a second term and that would be a catastrophe for our country. There is so much at stake in this election and I firmly believe this is the most important election we've ever had.

Quote:
Hello Friends,

We've had many discussions here about the different GOP candidates with Ron Paul getting much of the attention cos people either like/love this guy or dislike him intensely and believe he's a very dangerous person. The different opinions about the kook Ron Paul aren't what I want to talk about in this post. I'm convinced we'll get back to the regular like/love to dislike intensely discussions but today we'll set this aside for the moment but the kook will still be part of the issue in today's post.

I've had a few discussions with a friend who recently has become a RP supporter but even before that was an advocate for a third party candidate. We are in disagreement about that too for the following reasons. He believes that it's time for a third party in order to break the 2 party system (duopoly- has become a popular word lately) and my claim is that a third party will split the conservative vote and benefit B Hussein alone and insure his reelection.

Not so claims my friend and I asked him to prove that his theory is correct and has a chance of succeeding. So far aside from the sound byte of third party repeated again and again no proof or attempt to prove that it is a viable option to oust B Hussein from the WH is forthcoming. His lack of providing the numbers that prove it can succeed is understandable cos there is no such proof.

On the other hand proof that a third party will insure a B Hussein victory is not hard to prove. Rasmussen published a poll yesterday that shows that only 6% of GOP voters will vote for a third party if their favorite candidate doesn't win the nomination. It's safe to assume that the 6% are Paul supporters especially since in the last debate he refrained from saying he wouldn't run on a third party ticket. I've claimed from the start that he will cos there is no chance for him to win the GOP nomination and he's so full of himself that he'll run regardless of the consequences. He'll go down in history as the person responsible for four more nightmarish years of the fraud and great pretender B Hussein.

Back to the numbers. If only 6% vote for the third party that's 6% less votes the GOP presidential candidate would receive. 6% can insure a B Hussein victory and if by some chance by the time the elections roll around it might even be higher then 6%. The poll also shows that 8% of the GOP voters will vote for B Hussein if there will be a third party candidate. Add this to the 6% and you have 14% loss of GOP voters. B Hussein will laugh all the way to the WH and you can thank the third party for that whose candidate will most probably be the kook Ron Paul. One thing to remember. Paul has nothing to lose. He's not running for Congress again so going all the way means nothing to him win or lose. It'll be his gotcha moment. You laughed at me and now I'm the one laughing will be in his mind.

While it 's nice to have a favorite candidate when push comes to shove the name of the game this time around is getting rid of B Hussein. A third party would be the catalyst and final nail in the coffin of the GOP/conservative run and will be remembered as the elections the GOP could have won but a kook and his supporters didn't care enough to let that happen.

Below is the Rasmussen report and poll with the numbers and additional damaging information that a third party would cause.

Shalom,

Peter

Texas Congressman Ron Paul at a debate Saturday night in New Hampshire refused to rule out a third party run for the presidency if he fails to win the Republican nomination. But there’s minimal support for a third party candidate among Republican voters even if their favorite candidate is not the nominee.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that six percent (6%) of Likely Republican Primary voters nationwide say they would vote for a third party candidate if the candidate they’re backing for the GOP nomination comes up short. Slightly more (8%) say they would vote for President Obama if that was the case. But 78% of these GOP voters plan to vote for the Republican candidate no matter what. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

The national survey of 1,000 Likely Republican Primary Voters was conducted on January 4, 2012 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.

Just wondering if Mr. Romney would have such popularity if he had pronounced those words in 1942 with regards to the Japanese. Obviously there were as there always are plenty of peace loving folks in all countries anywhere around the world and at anytime in history. Trouble is that this attitude is falsifying the issue big time because it helps Islam maintain its barbaric way of life to the detriment of its own people, to say the least, and therefore constitutes by ignorance or by opportunism an act of racism towards those that suffer from Islam directly or indirectly as long as it does not hurt Mr. Romney himself. This attitude is dangerous because these very people usually turn around in their beliefs with an equal and proportionate reaction when time comes, which is equally dangerous and out of proportion.

I can't agree with you more Robert. Romney is quoted as saying the following:
Quote:
As reported in the Des Moines Register, Romney reminded the gathering he had grown up in the Detroit area which has a large Muslim community.

About radical Islam Romney said, "They take a very different view of Islam than the Muslims I know."

"I believe people of the Islamic faith do not have to subscribe to the ideas of radical, violence and jihadism," added Romney.

One man at the event claimed he had not heard Muslims denouncing Islamic jihad or terrorism.

Romney countered, saying , "Most Muslims are peaceful people who deserve respect" but he emphasized radicals pose a threat to Americans and others around the world.

His answer to the question was in actual fact not an answer but a politician's way of not answering a direct question. There might be some muslims who are peace loving people but until they denounce the jihadi terrorists, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, the barbarism in the koran, human rights violations, women's lack of rights and being the chattel and property of their husbands and far from equal under shariah law and the list goes on and on. Until they're willing to do just that and more in my opinion they're suspect and not truly moderate nor peace loving. When push comes to shove they'll support the radical jihadi Islamic terrorists possibly out of fear of retribution by their more radical friends but not necessarily so.

There are a few true moderates muslims and they're in fear of their lives. So much for Islam being a peace loving religion. Romney is guilty of not telling the whole truth and trying to find favor with some muslims but it won't work. When you have groups like CAIR (and the majority of muslim organizations) a Hamas/Muslim Brotherhood front organization recognized as moderate berating you left right and center all over the progressive liberal PC MSM, with their litigation jihad and more Romney and other politicians will find that fence straddling like he does is ineffectual and won't win him any "points" with the muslims or their vote.

Being consistent is the only way to gain the respect of the people you're trying to convince and get their vote in the upcoming primaries, IMO.

Shalom,

Peter

Romney: Islam Is a Peace-Loving Religion

Saturday, 10 Dec 2011 11:54 AM

By Gary Cohen

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney says the Muslims he knows are "peace-loving and America-loving individuals."

At a campaign event in Cedar Rapids Friday, the subject of how to handle the threat posed by radical Islam was raised.

romney muslim peaceAs reported in the Des Moines Register, Romney reminded the gathering he had grown up in the Detroit area which has a large Muslim community.

Writes Wilfredo Amr Ruiz in the Huffington, Romney has had trouble resonating with the American Muslim Community.

Ruiz, a Muslim chaplain in addition to being an attorney and political analyst, pointed out in a report that the Council of American Islamic Relations called on Romney to remove Dr. Walid Phares as a foreign policy adviser on his campaign.

The council said Phares had belonged to a Christian militia known as the Lebanese Forces. and was involved with other militia groups responsible for killing Muslims.

Phares is also an adviser to Congress on Middle East issues.

Ghani, Your post is one jumbled mishmash of nonsense but that's your right especially if that's all you have to offer.

The majority of the gibberish in your post has nothing to do with what is being discussed in this thread and I challenge you to find one lie about the fraud and great pretender B Hussein that "I spread".

That's basically the only point in the mishmash you posted that has anything to do with this thread. As for drugs check and find out how immersed B Hussein was in drugs during his college years. Wonder how much coke he snorted during those years and if it affected his mental capacities?!

Shalom,

Peter

P.S. I just noticed you've been a member of AdlandPro since 2009 and this is your first post. I wonder why I was so "honored"?
