These poor rich kids, they are suffering so much to make things right. What a bunch of hullabaloo! Other threads are decrying the police because someone got pepper sprayed and they peed their pants because they never thought they would be arrested. They are quoting obscure web sites where people have no names just handles. What bunch of crap! Of course we cannot forget about the lifelong activists there too.

Here comes the resource based economy and society! What a bunch of bunkem.

A young black "protester" put on quite a show in New York when he knelt before one of the banks on Wall Street and cried that this is the bank responsible for his parents losing their house. The show was a good one and the video went viral but after the Blaze did some investigative reporting (remember the word reporting that MSM forgot all about) they found that he comes from a well to do family and his parents aren't even close to losing their home. Oh yeah and he goes to a prestigious University and was more or less raised with a silver spoon in his lying mouth. Yep, these radical left wing progressives will stoop to any low and lie big time in order to cry wolf and spread their socialistic/communistic message.

Video: Liberal law student chokes on silver spoon in (false) protest

The latest anti-business viral video burning up the liberal blogosphere today seems heart-wrenching… that is, until you do your homework.

Robert Stephens graduated from Carleton College (average cost: $42,942/year) in 2010 and now studies law at The George Washington University Law School (average cost: $70,449/year). His father has a Ph.D. and two master’s degrees; his mother also has a master’s degree. Only in America could a kid have been blessed with so much… and only in America could he still claim to be a victim. America’s capitalist society has apparently leveled a grave injustice against his family and Robert will not stand for it.

Stephens — who identifies his personal political philosophy as Bolivian socialism — made a trip to New York City this weekend to participate in the “Days of Rage” march on Wall Street. He was arrested Saturday when he refused police requests to get up and out of the way of traffic in the street.

In his emotional “rage,” Stephens told the sympathetic Socialist/Marxist/Anarchist crowd how an eeeeeevil Wall Street bank had taken his parents’ home away from them:

(Full disclosure: I attended GWU as an undergrad and, to help make sure my mortgage gets paid every month, I continue to work at the law school as a part-time employee on the weekends.)

Our friend Robert and his woeful tale have quickly become darlings of the liberal blogosphere and the mainstream media (and Iran’s Tehran Times!). Here he is in a picture posted at Buzzfeed — an image that perfectly captures him utilizing the biggest tool in the left-wing’s arsenal: the media.

Caption on this photo: “Protested (sic) falls to his knees in tears in front of Chase Bank crying – this is the bank that took my parents’ home.”

According to the Daily Kos, Robert should be commended as “a patriot” for spelling out the reason people are protesting. “If you can watch it without being affected, you are as heartless as Dick Cheney,” the site notes.

There’s just one problem: Robert Stephens’ story is (surprise!) completely bogus.

Phone inquiries into the county property records & taxpayer services office reveal that the Stephens family home is not and never has been in foreclosure, that property taxes had been paid in full this year and the remaining balance on their mortgage for the half-million dollar home is less than one year’s worth of tuition+fees at their son’s law school.

The nail in this empty protest‘s coffin is a delightful phone conversation I just had with Robert’s mother, Marquita, where she admitted Chase Bank indeed was not “taking” their home from them. Instead, due to a recent “reduction in income,” they’ve decided to hold a “short sale.”

When I asked Mrs. Stephens if she and her husband planned to stay in their suburban St. Paul, Minn., surroundings after the sale, she told me they weren’t too keen on the idea. The area is “a bit too conservative,” she said.

Hi Jim, if you watch and listen to this video you'll find that Dick Morris is basing this on the latest Washington Post-ABC News polls so this is not something he created out of thin air.

President Obama’s approval ratings mired near career lows, the number of Americans holding favorable impressions of him has – for the first time in his presidency – sagged under 50 percent, according to Washington Post-ABC News polls. Barely more than one in five now hold “strongly” positive views, down significantly since the spring.
In the poll – a new weekly look at who is up and who is down on this basic measure of public sentiment – 47 percent say they view Obama favorably, but just as many, 46 percent, view him unfavorably.
For the first time, those with intensely negative impressions outnumber his strong backers.
For Texas Gov. Rick Perry and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, Obama’s top Republican challengers, the first hurdle is familiarity. Fully 46 percent of those polled express no opinion about Perry, and nearly as many – 37 percent have no thoughts on Romney.
Among those who do have an opinion of Romney, just as many view him unfavorably as favorably. Perry’s numbers tilt negative, with 31 percent of all Americans expressing unfavorable views, compared with 23 percent who have positive ones. Perry’s strong detractors outnumber his fierce supporters by better than 2 to 1 (19 to 7 percent).
Conservative Republicans express broadly favorable views of both Romney and Perry, with the Texas governor having ample head room in this core group: 38 percent of conservative Republicans do not yet offer a rating for Perry.
But casting ahead to a potential general election showdown with Obama – at least among independents--Romney is better positioned: independents split 35 percent favorable to 30 percent unfavorable. For Perry, independents are 23 percent favorable; 36 percent unfavorable.
The opportunity for the Republicans is apparent. Nearly half of independents – 48 percent – hold unfavorable views of Obama.
The number of independents with strongly favorable views has sagged to a new low of 14 percent, with twice as many – 28 percent – expressing strongly unfavorable ones.
Obama’s most solid backers have slipped notably on this score as well.
African Americans continue to view the president favorably in overwhelming numbers, but the proportion expressing strongly positive views has dropped 25 points since mid-April. Five months ago, 83 percent of African Americans held strongly favorable impressions of Obama. In the new poll, the number doing so is 58 percent.
Similarly, for the first time since he’s been in office, Obama’s favorable rating has slipped below 50 percent among those aged 18 to 29, with as many holding strongly unfavorable as strongly favorable views (21 to 18 percent).
Strongly favorable views among all liberal Democrats are down from 69 percent in April to 52 percent now.

I just was reading today that the Jewish support of Obama is less than 50%.

He also lost about one-third of his black voter support since 5 months ago, that's a lot in a short time!

Americans have been waltzing down the path to change we can believe in for nearly three years now but it is obvious that not everyone is getting it yet. Here is all you need to know about Obamachange that will get you speaking Obamanese in the very shortest amount of time.

Because most of these definitions and summaries are now past tense you will understand that while this guide may seem facetious it is in fact an incredible reality. It is not a joke and it is not laughable in any way.

To be perfectly balanced and fair it must be noted that Barack Obama has kept his promise to produce change in America. He has only failed on the side of it being, something we can believe in. The reality is that for most Americans it can only be described as something that is hard to believe at all.
Marriage: Bad. Traditional marriage between a man and a woman needs to be re-defined along with any attempt to defend that unconstitutional new dumb device known as DOMA, Defense of Marriage Act. To blazes with thousands of years of human history, the Bible and all the sensibilities of man ever known.
Gay Marriage: Good. Must stand up for the less than 2 percent of those who want to spend their lives together with their own gender. File under, more mindless mendacities meant to mend minorities. (Say that three times real fast.)
Spending: Good. Must bail out big corporations and spread the rest of the wealth around in entitlements, it is good for garnering votes and helps people in their pursuit of happiness; at other people’s expense. How about that Solynda thing
Debt: Good! Real good! However we are sorry to say, only the sky is the limit because money for the space program is in short supply. We will have to keep it down to earth unless we can find a way to convince those stodgy republicans in the house to loosen up and raise that silly debt ceiling. Perhaps we can scare our seniors to death by telling them their social security checks might not be in next month to get those sluggish republicans to get going. Too late he already did that.
Taxes: Good. How can we raise the debt ceiling unless you cough up a lot more money in taxes? Also we may need to send Michelle Obama on another billion dollar vacation to Spain should she require it. Better to be prepared, rather than have a flustered first lady, who can no longer guide us in the serious work of counting calories.
Abortion: Good. Why should those who want to play; be saddled with the price to pay. What 153 million abortions since 1973? The high priests of science think they can explain things like quantum physics and origins of the universe but still cannot discern when life really begins for our own species. Could it be that they have stopped asking the question? Who cares that for the majority of Americans, the question and the answer, were never in doubt. But don’t worry; the lives of unborn whales, seals, monkeys and brown haired stinky mice are still very safe here in America.
Muslim Brotherhood: Good. We know jihad is an avowed goal and way of life for Muslims but for the sake of diplomacy can’t we overlook a dangerous life threatening religious doctrine or two? Over two hundred years of Middle East strife, war and unrest can be reversed with one single act of political recognition by the changemaster

Immigration: Good. Let’s be civil if you are already here, we don’t care how you got here. You can get aid, food stamps and tuition for school, and don’t forget to get your families to vote for the change man in return. Taxpayer money has bought and paid for those votes, and that makes taxpayers complicit in some way; doesn’t it?

Liberal Supreme Court Justices: Good. We’ve got four and a swing vote, and were working on a fifth. You had better start working on your own fifth (Well aged scotch highly recommended) so once the change is made you will be too numb to notice that the court is already overrun with flaming liberals.

War in Iraq and Afghanistan: Good and Bad. Liberals ask no questions they just want us out pronto. Conservatives raise issues about democracy and possible civil wars. Solution: as elections draw near promise to bring some soldiers home for the lefties and leave a few of our boys there for the conservatives, now everybody is happy. Remember there is no word for incongruity in the Obamanese language. There is also no word for victory.

Sharia Law: Good. C’mon it’s not all that far from a few whacks on your knuckles with your grandfathers Irish shillelagh. Stoning women for relatively minor offenses, honor killings and cutting off the hands of youthful petty thieves is just a good way of knocking that foolishness right out of them. Remember it’s the Muslim Brotherhood; there is no Muslim Sisterhood and there are no Muslim boys and girls clubs.

Religion: Which one? Hard to tell which one the changemaster really adheres to, it is sort of obscure and hard to understand. Oh, that’s right, that is what Obama said about passages of the Bible that call homosexuality an abomination. Either way, they are both obscure and hard to understand. Want to get along in our new world of change, just remember, “Don’t ask – Don’t tell” is something Obama wants removed from the military but not necessarily from his own private or public life.

Change: You decide. Is it Barack Obama’s way of saying “I did it my way?” Is it close to Lincoln’s vision of endless continuity for this land of the free? Can it compare to this definition: “that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” (Abraham Lincoln, Gettysburg, PA November 1863) If it is not, then please disregard all I have said and go back to being the America that you were before the Obama administration, and for the sake of God and country, do not change.

Please note that nothing said here is meant to be funny nor is it meant as tongue in cheek humor. What is happening in America today is not funny but it is absurd and very difficult to believe in the light of a 234 year history of amazing national dignity. Keep in mind that while it is true that our government should not be so big it must also be said that it should not be so goofy either.
