Your cat Minnie looks a lot like my cat Toby. I have 4 cats and they are all special! Toby is the self-appointed boss of them. Although he weighs about 14 # he bosses Sonny, who weighs over 20 #, plus the two girls, Nadeeta and Shelley.

There is never a dull day when you have cats around. They train us to feed them at their convenience, tell us when the water bowl is empty,  and give us attention when they feel like it!

Hi Donna,

I completely see that in my cats also!  The older one, even though smaller, is very bossy.  Her name is Meowzers and I think she doesn't like women, she likes the guys and hates me...LOL.  She was pre-owned and maybe had bad experiences with a female owner before.  I always wonder what they'd say if they had 5 minutes to talk.

My mother-in-law has tons of cats and shows pictures of them to everyone, tons of pictures, and she gives them all human names!!

Do you have any pets??  Minnie IS very lucky because I wanted to get a different cat because she had some fur missing, but she was the friendliest one there at the pet shelter, so we took her (and Meowzers) and after awhile, Minnie's missing fur grew back.  So to all people who overlook the pets who have small problems, sometimes they turn out to be very good choices and hopefully the problems are just temporary.
