TODAY, April 30th, is the 6th anniversary of when I adopted my cats.
One of them quickly turned into my best friend at a time when I NEEDED a pet, needed something, to keep my mind from a deep depression in my life that had fallen upon me in September 2002.  After 7 months of not being able to shake it, I finally knew I needed the one thing that could lift it from me...unconditional love we can only get from a pet.
They always love us, even when the world of people thinks we are completely out of our mind, our pets think we're the greatest person on earth, as long as we treat them properly.  The day that turned from deep darkness to light, April 30th, 2003, thanks to my cat, Minnie...she sits on my lap as often as possible, and purrs very loudly, almost like an old man snoring, actually she DOES snore while sleeping, she tries to "talk" sometimes, this is the most noise-making cat I've ever met, and one of the most affectionate and sensitive to peoples emotions, she's truly almost human, only better!!

No it was not a chemical imbalance.  It was a personal issue.

One of my sister's cats does that, too!  Perches on peoples shoulders like Snoopy doing his vulture imitation!!
