Dear Georgios,
Once again, congratulations! This homage to your friends is wonderful, and they are so lovely. The story of how they persuaded you into writing is fascinating too. But then, you had two of the best possible mentors in Adland.
I also loved the Phoenix bird fable, one of my favorites. Actually everything that has to do with symbols, and particularly if they are related to cycles, is most favorite with me. But this one is all the more special since it can be found in all the ancient cultures all over the world, even in my country. It is associated to the myth of the Cosmic Egg, which represents the dissolution and rebirth of the universe. In fact, it is known that an image of it adorned the main wall of the temple of Ccoricancha in Cusco, the capital of the empire of the Incas, before it was replaced with the Sun's image that met the Spaniard's eyes when they entered the city.
Thank you, Georgios for yet one more outstanding presentation of a charming topic.
Best Wishes,
Luis Miguel Goitizolo
