Shirley had her appointment with her doctor yesterday and there was a point where I had to be out of the room. I believe that I had to tinkle. Perhaps it was best that I was not in the room, because when we got home, Shirley told me something that scared me then, and still scares me. The reason that she was sent to the hospital was because her Cumadin level was excellerating at a rapid pace and if she had banged her head just slightly at that time it would have triggered internal bleeding in her brain that would not have been able to be stopped. Her Cumadin level is at the normal level right now, but she has to go to the hospital Monday for another test and return to the doctor in two weeks. I have not posted this on Music Sensation as yet, but I will.

My passion for years has been UFOlogy and the fact that there is alot more activity going on around us that needs to be understood. My other passion is AdlandPro Community. Like many of us, this is my second home. I just wish people would stop leaving the toilet seat up. I almost fell in. Friendship and honesty in advertising are very important to me. I developed Promote your Talent and Business to give our newer members a chance to introduce themselves to the community and our existing members a chance to inter-act with our newer friends. Therefore, much of what I do, I do so passionately. (Ohhh, it's getting Hot in here.) Sorry. I'm usually not this serious. I don't want to be a number and I don't want anyone else to be either. I could say be happy and enjoy life. You never know when a Meteor will hit. Oh, wait a minute. It did. Is there anyone here that has a first hand account of what happened? It would be interesting to know about it. We are people, not cyber images we no thoughts or feelings. I don't want to talk to a wall. I want to talk to a person.

hi mike and others. i feel i agree with you mike. i do NOT know where the spark is here in adland. i have maybe 1/2 hour when i can type using 2 hands. now i have pain if i type 2 hands like supposed to. i can't be on like the old days. i copy and paste now.

i feel i've said for past 5 years NO BIZ enough in my threads & forums. people don't bother to follow my requests or even read. i just delete .

No one is interested in music, current events, or anything else anymore except how they can sell their product. When I have visited some of the newer people's profile page I have learned a lot about what they are selling but very little about who they are. I will continue to post subjects that I feel will be of interest to others, and if no one wants to respond, that is quite all right. I am still concerned about Shirley and will post her condition for those that might be interested and if no one responds, that is fine with me. Eventually someone might care, but I will do my best to keep the social end of our community alive,

Mike, Thank You for the update on Shirley; it seems this is very serious and she need to be very cautions and taking great care of herself. My prayers are with both of you! I so hope that she can get some relief and feels better and, even, healing of her actual condition.

On the other subject, I understand very well all of your frustration. It was my load for quite some time until I decided to get the most out of what is...

1) AdlandPro is first and foremost an advertising place... people are joining AdlandPro to Advertise their business... point final; otherwise, they would not be here.

2) Very few of them, then discover that there is a community of wonderful and amazing people... so few of them that for more than four years that I am here, close to none really added to this small group that we are and, in fact, we losed more members than we gained... and, this is why we must treat each other so preciously because we are rare gems.

3) Spammers are spammers and we will not stop them - even though we might bring one to understand at some point, there will still be ten others joining meanwhile. I understood it long ago and I do not even bother to explain anything, I delete the post... point final. My role is not to convert anyone. And, you know what, I think that they do not even noticed that there post has been deleted as they just move from one forum to the next posting their ad - hoping to get some miracle result - and are not coming back to see if their posts are still there or not.

4) And, thus, very few people are truly interested in any topic at all... as you all noticed, they are here to advertise their business... point final. So, some might try to join and do some posts here and there, and if they do not see kind of immediate result they shortly won't be coming back. Actually, even those coming here to advertise are leaving very shortly or simply not coming back because they do not see immediate result... not understanding that advertising and Promoting is something that pays in the long run, that pays when people get to know you in one way or another and are then attracted to do business with you or not according to who you are... they will slowly learn over time and experience or they will stop doing business... having no results whatsoever.

So, the question is in this actual reality that is AdlandPro, what's in it for me? How can this place help me serve my own purpose... no matter what purpose is???

And, then, manage to get the most out of it... this is my perspective.

I suggest that if anyone wants to continue this discussion, you just copy the actual post. that you want to start with or reply to, to a different thread or forums and let me know so that I can join you in there.
