10_1_136.gifHi Alain,

I truly wish they were moving ahead. I have tried everything. It seems to me that no matter what subject I put up, no one is interested. Perhaps my introduction is all wrong. I believe that is I started my introduction with "Hi (first name). Shirley and I are headed out to eat, but I wanted to tell you about this Fantastic opportunity before I left." No one is interested in music, current events, or anything else anymore except how they can sell their product. When I have visited some of the newer people's profile page I have learned a lot about what they are selling but very little about who they are. I will continue to post subjects that I feel will be of interest to others, and if no one wants to respond, that is quite all right. I am still concerned about Shirley and will post her condition for those that might be interested and if no one responds, that is fine with me. Eventually someone might care, but I will do my best to keep the social end of our community alive, because I have made some wonderful friends in here like you, Patricia Bartch, Roger McDivvit, Luis Miguel, Myrna Ferguson and the list goes on and on. It is just sad that there are so many people in the world today that favor the all mighty dollar over friendship.

GOD BLESS YOU

~Mike~

Hello Mike!

I understand very well how you might feel as I had felt in the same way very often.

What is important, I think, is that you make a forum about your own passion, the things that you like and love and that you share about these with all of your heart... instead of trying to find subjects that could be interesting to people, because then you become disappointed to see that no one seems to be interested. By sharing about your own passion, you have fun and you enjoy what you are doing no matter the individual response of people around and, strangely, you will start seeing some people sharing this same passion with you - even if it would be only one or two person... but, in this way you will feel good and be happy no matter what... this is my wish to you My Friend.

And, I, for one, am very much interested in news about Shirley as I so deeply wish that she can find peace in her life and get a break in feeling some relief and health improvement.

Love and Blessings to both of You My Friend.

Have a terrific weekend,

Alain

I loved what you said Alain and I agree with you 100%! ( thought I would come in and say that) I feel we need to start understanding that the concept of community needs to come before networking for anyone to succeed. The reality is that there are many people who come to Adlandpro not understanding this basic concept and are here to advertise and we need to start getting people to understand this this is a community of people with different likes and interests and it is only when we are willing to personable and share who we are and not what we do ( that is what the signature is about), then people will find better success.
To Michael: I hope that Shirley is having a better day and my thoughts are with you
