Hi Kathy, Great idea. I will not purchase gas on Sept 17th. I know what you mean about seeing the prices keep rising. Just 10 days ago I was looking for a station where I could beat the $2.59 price, and yesterday in Fort Worth where I live prices at some stations was well over $3.00. It's clear that something needs to change. If enough people refuse to purchase gas just 1 day, it should make them sit up and take notice.
