	Just a quick note to remind you that Tuesday, January 27, 2009 is an International Holocaust Remembrance Day. In 2005, The United Nations General Assembly designated January 27 as an annual international day of commemoration to honor the victims of the Nazi era. This date marks the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp. Every member nation of the U.N. has an obligation to honor the memory of Holocaust victims and develop educational programs as part of the resolve to help prevent future acts of genocide. 	Yes, Jim! We must never forget what happened against the Jews during World War 2. This is especially important as one of the catholic leaders in a strange organization has denied the holocaust in an interview.

	Hello Jim Thank you for the information. I reckon it is important to remember and incorporate the Holocaust as part of school history lessons as it is much more recent evil event than many of the other history lessons of the civil war which seems to more important part of school lessons than present history. I agree with Mattias, I have also heard and read news items whereby some people or organizations have denied that the Holocaust ever happened and have tried to block any attempt for the public to be informed. 	Hello Jim & Friends, Thanks for posting JoAnne's article on the Holocaust Remembrance Day. We shall not forget but it appears many have and as Mattias and Amanda mentioned even continue to deny the Holocaust. The British Catholic Bishop and his 3 buddies that were reinstated after being excommunicated by the Catholic Church is a prime example of that. This a sad day but an important one and we'll stand fast and never forget. Shalom, Peter
