Hi Myrna, Thank you for sharing the Horseshoe Curve. New Zealand has some of these but on a much smaller scale as the road has followed the river then a bridge built across the narrow end then the road on the other side follows the river again before it can go inward. The road and bridge builders in the good old days made a good job with their picks and shovels that many of these same roads are still in use, just been made wider. I have travelled by train on the route during the day time and looked back at the tracks as you go around one of the corners, looked across and looked upwards from different places on the route to see the tracks. It is quite an amazing stretch of train tracks. Amanda
