The reason I commented about JoAnne's deletion of my apology is because JoAnne prides herself in being fair in her writings of current affairs in the community but acts the contrary. By deleting my apology she appears to be trying to influence what people think of me, she doesn't want them to see that all I wanted was to bring peace to the community. Now Amanda is distorting all my comments and accusing me of only paying lip service, while JoAnne is accusing me of being sanctimonious. Who is attacking who? I call for peace and get accused of all kinds of things. Anyone can go back to the forum and see for themselves what I said:

So Peter, it is not fair to me that they are trying to influence what the new members think of me by the distortion of my comments. They are trying to make me out to be a monster. As my friend Peter, I ask you to try to see it through my eyes. How would you react? Would you not defend yourself if someone accused you falsely? I did it without calling them names and I even tried to apologize.

I think it's ridiculous to delete an apology.  Like you, I'm surprised John.  Of course you wrote your posts without committing any wrongs John.  I don't think the "Crier" has done the right thing this time. I did not see you as an name caller.
