I'm glad to hear that you and Peter are putting this behind you. I read the other forums, but didn't post. Less said is best mended.
I try to stay neutral and hope things get ironed out. Sometimes it isn't easy to do, but when you stand up for one you are knocking the other one down and that isn't my intention to do.

I would like to respond from your post..

I'm glad to see that things may finally be going in the right direction.
I am appalled by your actions to have the audacity to bring your
gripes over into Georgios forum to start afresh what you were
not permitted to start in JoAnnes forum
I tried to convince folks at JoAnne's forum to end the controversy but it didn't go well.
Discussions within the forum were not contraversal nor was there
any strife, the only controversy and strife was when you barged in and proceeded to tell us to stop the controversy and strife then
proceeded to be very rude to Geketa regarding her honest opinion. Then you come back again to respond in arrogance and flaunt
how many posts you have written in various forums in comparrison
to hers!! Quality is far better than quantity any day..You also stated, that you have been away for 12 months and did not really know
what was going on, so what was your purpose to start up this discord when there was none in the first place.  It was from your
own perception not anyone else in the forum.

They accused me of trying to hi-jack the forum, of being judgemental, and of being in charge of the 'Thought Police'.
JoAnne has this message on the bottom of her introduction and
at the end of each of her personal posts...-:

Had you read the rules you would have seen 'You are required to
a friend of hers" as this is one of the requirements before posting
in her forum.  So yes, you did hijack her forum within her rules!

All because I sought peace in the community.
We differ in our respective understanding of 'peace' in the community.

Then when I posted an apology for the misunderstanding and explained again that all I was trying to do was prevent and all out war I was silenced by the deletion of my post. The odd thing is that she kept up all my other posts up but my apology. Is that fair? Why would someone delete an apology? I even wrote a personal e-mail with an apology but received no reply.
Yes that was fair.  Your apology was playing 'lip service' and not
at all sincere or came from the heart.  Instead it came across as
very arrogant (making claims or pretensions to superior importance or rights; overbearingly assuming; insolently proud:)

Anyhow, I hope this forum thread is a step in the right direction. Keep up the good work. I hope all has been well with you Georgios. Take care!

Hello Georgios and Friends,

Here's a thought for all of us. When parties decide to have peace talks each side has different reasons for coming to the table. Whatever the original reasons are or were if the end result is a positive one and true peace and quiet prevails then the initial reason for coming to the table are of no importance anymore.

Therefore rehashing what happened in the past here is not conducive to creating an atmosphere of quiet within Adland. So John I think your rehashing what happened in JoAnne's forum was unnecessary and not conducive to promoting and maintaining quiet and peaceful relations within the community.

I want to thank all that posted here for their comments and with you hope that the atmosphere within the community will continue to be a positive one in the coming year.
