RE: HSIG- Norway Apologizes To Jews
2/1/2012 3:16:08 PM
Hello Friends,

Not many are aware that Norway during WW II was considered an ally of the Nazis and collaborated with them. They fought alongside the Nazis on the Western front and assisted the Germans in deporting a large majority of the Jews living in Norway at the time.

Historically Norway didn't have many Jewish citizens cause they had laws against Jews entering their country. In the below article you'll find a lot of information on the history of Antisemitism in Norway and their actions during WWII. Last week Norway apologized to the Jews for their collaboration with the Nazis during WWII.

A few years ago I posted extensively about Muslims rioting in Malmo when an Israeli tennis player participated in a tennis tournament with the police standing by and almost doing nothing at all.

The below article might be an eye opener for many and is definitely a must read.

Shalom,

Peter

Norway apologizes to Jews

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=4qb2DPpBoAA

Oslo 2009

When I saw the headline, "Norway apologizes to Jews," I thought perhaps that Norway was apologizing for the rampant Jew-hatred that has long infected the soul of a country with a history of wretched antisemitism. I watched in horror the vicious, violent protests against the Jews in Oslo in 2009. And the reported increasingly typical stories of rampant racism, such as Muslim taxidrivers refusing to drive Jews to synogogue.

In a 2006 report on Jew hatred in contemporary Norwegian caricatures published by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, Erez Uriely noted among other things that Norway banned kosher ritual slaughter in 1929 - three years before a similar ban was instituted in Nazi Germany. And whereas the ban on kosher ritual slaughter was lifted in post-war Germany, it was never abrogated in Norway.
As Uriely noted, Norway's prohibition on Jewish ritual slaughter makes Judaism the only religion that cannot be freely practiced in Norway.
Fascism was deeply popular in Norway in the 1930s. In the wake of the Nazi invasion, Norwegian governmental leaders founded and joined the Norwegian Nazi Party. Apparently, sympathy for Nazi collaborators is strong today in Norway.
As the JCPA's Manfred Gerstenfeld noted in a report on the rise in Norwegian anti-Semitic attacks during 2009, two years ago the Norwegian government allocated more than $20 million in public funds to commemorate Norwegian novelist Knut Hamsun on the occasion of the Nobel laureate for literature's 150th birthday. As The New York Times reported, in February 2009, Norway's Queen Sonja opened the, "year-long, publicly financed commemoration of Hamsun's 150th birthday called 'Hamsun 2009.'"
But while Hamsun may have been a good writer, he is better remembered for being an enthusiastic Nazi. Hamsun gave his Nobel prize to Nazi propaganda chief Josef Goebbels. During a wartime visit to Germany, Hamsun flew to meet Adolf Hitler at Hitler's mountain home in Bavaria.
And in 2009, Norway built a $20 million museum to honor his achievements.
As Uriely explained in his report, "Norwegian anti- Semitism does not come from the grassroots but from the leadership - politicians, organization leaders, church leaders, and senior journalists. It does not come from Muslims but from the European-Christian society." (Caroline Glick)
But I was wrong. The apology is for the Norway's collaboration with the Nazis during the Holocaust, leading to the mass slaughter of all their Jews. Better 50 years late than never.

Norway apologizes to Jews AFP January 28, 2012

Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg on Friday apologized for Norway's deportations of Jews during the Second World War

"Without relieving the Nazis of their responsibility, it is time for us to acknowledge that Norwegian policemen and other Norwegians took part in the arrest and deportation of Jews," Stoltenberg said.

"Today, I feel it is fitting for me to express our deepest apologies that this could happen on Norwegian soil," the prime minister added, standing on the exact spot where 532 Jews boarded the cargo ship Donau to be taken to the concentration camps.

After Nazi troops invaded Norway on April 9, 1940, it was ruled by a collaborationist government headed by Vidkun Quisling, whose name has since been synonymous with "traitor."

About 772 Jews were deported from Nazi-occupied Norway during the war. Only 34 of them survived.

"The murders were unquestionably carried out by the Nazis," Stoltenberg said, "but it was Norwegians who carried out the arrests, it was Norwegians who drove the trucks ... and it happened in Norway."

History of the Jews in Norway

Although there likely were Jewish merchants, sailors and others who entered Norway during the middle age, no efforts were made to establish a Jewish community. Ruled by a series of Norwegian, Swedish, and Danish kings in combination with either Denmark or Sweden, public policy against non-Christians was in large part dictated by royal edict.

The first known mention of Jews in public documents relates to the admissibility of so-called “Portuguese Jews” (Sephardim) that had been expelled from Spain and Portugal in 1492 and 1497. Some of these were given special dispensation to enter Norway. Christian IV of Denmark-Norway gave Jews limited rights to travel within the kingdom, and in 1641, Ashkenazi Jews were given equivalent rights.

Christian V rescinded these privileges in 1687, specifically banning Jews from Norway, unless they were given a special dispensation. Jews found in the kingdom were jailed and expelled, and this ban persisted until 1851.

In 1814, Norway formulated its first constitution that included in the second paragraph a general ban against Jews and Jesuits entering the country. Portuguese Jews were exempt from this ban, but it appears that few applied for a letter of free passage. When Norway entered into the personal union of Sweden-Norway, the ban against Jews was upheld, though Sweden at that point had several Jewish communities.

In 1844 (4 November), the Norwegian Ministry of Justice declared: "... it is assumed that the so-called Portuguese Jews are, regardless of the Constitution’s §2, entitled to dwell in this country, which is also, to [our] knowledge, what has hitherto been assumed."

After tireless efforts by the poet Henrik Wergeland, politician Peder Jensen Fauchald, school principal Hans Holmboe and others, the Norwegian parliament lifted the ban against Jews in 1851 and they were awarded religious rights on par with Christian "dissenters."

In 1852, the first Jew landed in Norway to settle, but it wasn't until 1892 that there were enough Jews to form a synagogue in Oslo.

The Jewish community grew slowly until World War II and bolstered by refugees in the late 1930s, peaked at about 2,100. During the Nazi rule under the Nazi occupation of Norway, nearly all Jews were either deported to death camps or fled to Sweden and beyond. The Jews fleeing to Sweden were most often given help by non-Jewish Norwegians, although a number of the border guards only agreed to assist after receiving large payments from the refugees.

The Holocaust

During the war, civilian Norwegian police (politiet) in many cases helped the German occupiers in the apprehension of those Jews who failed to escape in time. Records show that during the Holocaust, 758 Norwegian Jews were murdered by the Nazis—mostly in Auschwitz. Many of the Jews who fled during the war did not return, and in 1946, there were only 559 Jews in Norway.

RE: HSIG- The Dhimmedia's Whitewashing Of Honor Killing
2/3/2012 9:55:33 AM
Hello Friends,

Last week a Canadian court found Mohammad Shafia, his wife Tooba and their son Hamed guilty of the honor killings of their 3 daughters (and Hamed's 3 teenage sisters) and Mohammad's "other" wife. As I said in a previous post this is one of the first verdicts calling these killings what they actually were "honor killings" and not finding other ridiculous and more politically correct names for murders of this sort like family violence and some other questionable descriptions for outright murder in the name of Islam and shariah law.

What can you expect when the president of the US called the jihadi attack in Ft. Hood where 13 were murdered and over 30 wounded "work place violence". This is capitulation and submission to Islam and the guilty parties are MSM, this administration and many other Western countries. They seem unable to report facts and are the tools of Islamic supremacy in addition to B Hussein's Islamic agenda to white wash Islam and not call it what it truly is.

The below article goes into detail on what Pamella Geller calls "The dhimmedia's whitewashing of honor killing". An article well worth reading.

Shalom,

Peter

DEFENDING THE WEST

The dhimmedia's whitewashing of honor killing

Exclusive: Pamela Geller takes on journalists reporting on Muslim family murderers

Pamela Geller is the publisher of AtlasShrugs.com and the author of the WND Books title "Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance."

Last Sunday, a landmark case in Canada came to its conclusion: Mohammad Shafia, his wife Tooba Yahya and their son Hamed Shafia were all found guilty of the Islamic honor killings of Hamed’s three teenage sisters and the polygamous Mohammad Shafia’s other wife. The verdict came despite the mainstream media’s best efforts to whitewash and cover up the motive for this mass honor killing.

Shariah did not prevail; justice was served. Yet the media’s malevolent enthusiasm to self-enforce the blasphemy laws under the Shariah (“do not offend Islam”) has extinguished whatever humanity they might have had. Islamic gendercide is epidemic in Muslim countries and an increasing problem in the West as Muslim populations grow. Muslims are responsible for 91 percent of honor killings worldwide. Islamic law stipulates no penalty for a parent who kills his child.

Instead of expressing repulsion and outrage at the systematic murder of girls yearning to be free and shining a light on this monstrous religious slaughter, the media have gone to irrational (even criminal) lengths to deny the connection of this honor killing, and every honor killing, to Islamic law. We see this time and time again.

Such is the case in a column published in the Toronto Star on the morning of the day the verdict was announced. The dishonesty and dhimmitude of the Canadian columnist, Rosie DiManno, was particularly galling. She was almost cheerleading the murderers and absolutely whitewashing honor killings.

The honor murderers in the Shafia case were quite clear that the three Shafia daughters had disrespected Islam, and that’s why they were murdered. Mohammad Shafia expressed no regret, saying: “I would do it again 100 times.” He made it clear that he did it because he thought his daughters were violating Islamic norms: “May the devil s–t on their graves. Is that what a daughter should be? Would a daughter be such a whore?” He also said: “God’s curse on them for generations. … They betrayed Islam.”

And yet Rosie DiManno wrote that honor killing had nothing to do with Afghan traditions (the Shafias are from Afghanistan) and hence nothing to do with Islamic traditions, either. DiManno comes across as a confused apologist desperately wanting to believe that the Shafia honor killing had nothing to do with Islam – but then she’s confronted with reality.

On the one hand, DiManno insists that “there is nothing in being Afghan that can remotely rationalize or contextualize the crime of which they, with son Hamed, stand accused.” But then she quotes Tooba’s sister Soraya, who lives in Kabul, saying yes, that she would kill for honor. Soraya’s husband then adds: “If any of (my) daughters dishonored me, I would put them in a bag and eliminate them so no one would ever find their traces in Afghanistan.”

And as for “contextualizing the crime,” Islamic scholar Robert Spencer has pointed out the context time and time again:

A manual of Islamic law certified as a reliable guide to Sunni orthodoxy by Al-Azhar University, the most respected authority in Sunni Islam, says that “retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (‘Umdat al-Salik o1.1-2). In other words, someone who kills his child incurs no legal penalty under Islamic law.

Also, several Muslim countries prescribe lenient sentences for honor murder.

But DiManno knows nothing about all this. She doesn’t even see what’s right in front of her face. She says in the same sentence that “the Shafia family was not particularly religious,” but then adds that “they did pray five times a day.” I kid you not.

DiManno’s observations about life in Afghanistan are completely anecdotal and do not reflect reality. On the one hand she writes, “women are worth less than cattle and sheep. Daughters, sisters, wives are an extension of their menfolk. Creepy old men marry 10-year-old girls,” and then goes on to say that “though honor killings are hardly atypical,” this one is just outside the limits of their barbarism. Tell it to all of the dead girls, Rosie.

DiManno’s entire column was a pathetic attempt to whitewash the motive of this mass honor killing, thereby paving the way for more of these murders.

CNN was no better last week, when it ran an entire report on the Shafia honor killings, noting that “interrogations of the family never uncovered a motive.” What about Mohammad Shafia’s clear statements about how his daughters’ betrayal of Islam was his motive?

These are the lengths the dhimmedia will go to in its self-enforcement of Shariah. The deceit of CNN, the Crescent New Network, and Rosie DiManno’s whitewashing, on the motive of the Shafia murderers is a crime against women and humanity. The drowned Shafia girls deserved better.

RE: HSIG- Spencer: New York Officials Apologize For Telling The Truth
2/3/2012 10:18:27 AM
Hello Friends,

Here's another case of Dhimmitude, capitulation and submission to Islamic pressure groups. The NYPD showed the documentary The Third Jihad to police officers.

The showing of accurate documentary was attacked by the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas front organization CAIR that claimed as usual that it was Islamophobic. They of course didn't attack the factual documentary but the showing of it. Immediately Mayor Bloomberg and the police department apologized for airing this accurate film. Ridiculous isn't it?

The below article authored by Robert Spencer shows the idiocy and total capitulation and submission of the City officials, the police department and of course MSM that gave credence to the ridiculous and idiotic claims of Islamophobia. An article well worth reading.

Shalom,

Peter

Yesterday afternoon Human Events posted my piece about recent shameful events in New York:

The mainstream media, led by the New York Times, and the Islamic supremacist Hamas-linked hate group the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) are doing all they can to whip up a frenzy about the NYPD’s showing of a relatively tepid but accurate counter-terror film, The Third Jihad, to police officers.

Lost in the hysteria is the question of whether there is anything inaccurate or false in the film – yet those who are demanding apologies and reeducation from the NYPD have demonstrated not one inaccuracy in it. No one who is protesting against this film is going beyond the claim that it is “Islamophobic.”

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg immediately apologized, saying that showing the film to New York police officers manifested “terrible judgment.” Police commissioner Raymond Kelly apologized also: “I offer my apologies to members of the Muslim community, in particular, who would find the film inflammatory and its airing on department property, though unauthorized, to be inappropriate.”

In a sane world, Kelly and Bloomberg would not be apologizing at all. They’d be saying, “Yes, we showed the film, and we’re going to keep showing it, and what of it? If the Muslims in New York are upset about it being inaccurate, let them demonstrate its inaccuracy by taking positive steps to fight in their own community against the stealth jihad activity that the film documents.”

For the whole controversy is predicated on the assumption that The Third Jihad is whipping up hysteria about a non-existent threat. In reality, it covers much the same ground that I cover in my book Stealth Jihad, in which I show that the agenda of infiltration and subversion on the part of the Muslim Brotherhood and its allied groups is very real.

In a captured internal Muslim Brotherhood document, Brotherhood operatives in the U.S. are told that they “must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

And at a Muslim event in California in 1998, CAIR cofounder and longtime Board chairman Omar Ahmad was quoted as saying: “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.”

Nor are these isolated statements. Yet the initial New York Times article about the showing of this film, as well as all the coverage that has followed, was based on the assumption that no Muslim in the U.S. believes or acts upon such ideas. And the Times deplored that “at least 1,489 police officers, from lieutenants to detectives to patrol officers, saw the film.” Apparently they will all need to be reeducated.

Instead of considering whether or not the film is accurate, the mainstream media has scolded Bloomberg and Kelly for their failure to reach out to New York’s Muslim community. But here again, in a sane world, the Mayor and the NYPD would not be expected to reach out to the Muslim community and prove their good will. The Muslim community would be reaching out to the Mayor and the NYPD, eager to prove its good will. And the Mayor and the NYPD would be telling Hamas-linked CAIR that its counterterror cooperation was not enough, instead of letting this execrable Islamic supremacist Hamas front dictate New York City’s counterterror operations.

But now CAIR smells blood, and is going in for the kill. They’ve announced that Kelly’s apology was not enough, and are calling for his resignation. They’ve already succeeded, courtesy of Barack Obama’s compliant Justice Department, in eliminating any truth about Islam and jihad from national FBI training, and are now trying to eliminate it everywhere.

The outcome will be a cadre of agents and police officers full of politically correct nonsense that will render them clueless, complacent, weak and supine in the face of jihad activity. And so the jihad in the U.S. will advance unimpeded.

And so New York, by means of this controversy, is on the verge of taking yet another decisive step toward completely banning the truth about jihad and Islamic supremacism, thereby rendering New Yorkers, and all Americans, more vulnerable than ever to that jihad.

Let's pray that their deaths were not in vain. I think we will see more and more Muslim women fighting for rights when they see our governments will take a stand for them as they did in the Shafia case.

Muslims, bring your women to our countries and we will free them.
