RE: HSIG - Fatah/PLO: Obama To ‘Take On’ Netanyahu After Re-Election
1/15/2012 8:38:28 PM
Hello Friends,

Many of us suspected that B Hussein took a time out from trying to pressure PM Netanyahu into additional concessions till after the 2012 elections. He's trying to salvage the Jewish vote and the vote of the many Americans who support Israel.

Leading members of the PLO/Fatah whose members run the Palestinian Authority came out and admitted that B Hussein told them that there's not much he can do till after the elections. They said he told them after he's reelected he'll start to pressure PM Netanyahu again.

You can read more about it in the below article by Aaron Klein.

Shalom,

Peter

Obama to ‘take on’ Netanyahu after election? Palestinians say White House asked them to delay demands till 2nd term.

By Aaron Klein

JERUSALEM — The Obama administration asked the Palestinian Authority not to make any major demands until after the presidential election in November, a senior PA official told KleinOnline.

The PA official, speaking on condition his name be withheld, said that Obama promised to renew stalled Israeli-Palestinian negotiations on the basis of the 1967 borders, meaning an Israeli withdrawal from eastern sections of Jerusalem as well as from Judea and Samaria, also referred to as the West Bank.

“We were asked by the (U.S.) administration not to make special demands or scandals during the elections,” said the official.

“After elections, the negotiations will be renewed on basis of the Clinton plan, and Obama’s speech in Cairo of the 1967 borders,” the official said.

The Clinton plan is a reference to the formula used during the Camp David negotiations in the summer of 2000 that saw sections of Jerusalem in which Jews predominantly live go to Israel, while areas inhabited by Arabs would become a Palestinian state. The negotiations also called for a near complete Israeli evacuation of the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

KleinOnline previously reported that several major purported Arab neighborhoods in Jerusalem are actually built illegally on Jewish-owned land, resulting in an Arab majority in those sections.

Obama to ‘take on’ Netanyahu during 2nd term?

This is not the first time the PA claimed the Obama administration asked them to hold off until after this year’s election.

Last September, KleinOnline quoted a top PA official saying the Obama administration told the Palestinian Authority it cannot significantly help advance a Palestinian state until after the election.

The official, however, said the U.S. will press for a Palestinian state quickly if President Obama is reelected.

“The main message we received from the U.S. is that nothing will happen in a serious way before the 2012 elections,” said the official.

Earlier this month, Washington Post columnist David Ignatius said he expects Obama to “take on” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a second presidential term.

Appearing as a panel member on the syndicated Chris Matthews Show, Ignatius stated: “What I hear from the White House is looking towards a second term on foreign policy, which I cover, as an opportunity to do the broad things that would establish an Obama agenda. He came into office passionate about the Middle East, about the Palestinian issue. I’d see him taking another really strong crack at that.”

“Go head to head with Netanyahu again?” Matthews then asked, according to a transcript provided by Newsbusters.

“Yeah, and I think, this White House thinks… -that he’s had success, that that’s an area – who would have said that an anti-war President, candidate, four years ago, could run on a strong foreign policy record?”

Cradle of civilization where the cultures of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam emerged

re: come to Israel with us
Dear President Obama:
I invite you, Michelle, and the children to join my wife and I as we travel to Israel in February. I know this is short notice but I am hopeful you can adjust your very busy schedule and make your first trip to the Jewish state as president of the United States. President Obama, we can experience together the cradle of civilization where the cultures of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam emerged. I realize I may not have been very kind to you in past commentaries I have written on your presidency, but I hope you will find forgiveness in your heart, and you and I can “bury the hatchet.” After all, we do share one very important item in common: we both love our country.
I understand the last time you paid a visit to the Holy Land, it was as candidate Obama in July 2008, and some folks made some less-than-nice remarks directed toward you at the Western Wailing Wall. I must admit a cousin of mine; Élan Gitlin barked at you, “Israel is not for sale.” I have spoken to my cousin and he promises me there will no repeat of such coarse rhetoric.
Here’s our itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Tel Aviv; get a good night’s sleep. The next day we are off to Caesarea, site of the Roman Empire headquarters, built by King Herod the Great. We should be able to reach Atlit Detention Center museum that afternoon to personally observe the British illegal immigrant detention center, where thousands of Holocaust survivors made exodus to then-Palestine in 1945, prior to Israeli statehood.
Day 2: We will head off to Zichron, Israel’s first Zionist center. We will stay at Kibbutz Yad Mordechai, named in honor of Jewish war hero Mordechai Anielewicz, who was credited with savings thousands of Jewish lives when he escaped the Warsaw Ghetto in 1943 and with his Jewish combat organization ZOB was the spark for the Warsaw Ghetto uprising that lasted several months. ZOB was responsible for retarding the efforts to deport the remaining 50,000 Jews to the Treblinka Death Camp. Anielewicz fought to his death against the hideous Nazi scourge in Poland. He died in battle at age 24 but remains my hero forever.
Day 3: We move on to the Golan Heights where we can view from below the indefensible Syrian border and perhaps we can agree the pre-1967 border which you have demanded Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu retreat to is totally unrealistic to ensure the peace we all strive to achieve.
Day 4: On we go to the Sea of Galilee and Tiberius and the city of Beit Shean, where the bodies of King Saul and his son lie after defeating the Philistines.
Day 5: Back to familiar territory: Jerusalem and the Wailing Wall. I promise no one will blurt out any inappropriate comments. If anyone says anything, I will personally go over to the offender and give him a zetz in the keppie (hit in the head). On to the Dead Sea and the last Jewish stronghold against the Romans 66-73 AD. From there we can view the Dead Sea Scrolls and Ammunition Hill, site of the victory of Six Day War in 1967.
Day 6: I want to spend the better part of the day at Yad Vashem and the Holocaust Remembrance. This sobering experience may help you convince Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan, and your former pastor Rev Jeremiah Wright, as well as some of your Muslim brethren, that there was indeed a Holocaust.
If you wish, I will contact Bibi, and I am sure he can clear his busy schedule and join us for some of our tour of the Jewish homeland.
President Obama, I do hope you will make every effort to join us. You see, this is my first visit to Israel and I want to make it a memorable one.
Let’s put to rest all that nonsense when you muttered under your breath years ago that you would never set foot on Israeli soil as president of the United States.
Awaiting your reply, I remain your dedicated adherent.
Shalom!

Hello Peter

I have been thinking for some time now how awful things might be for Israel and subsequently for the United States if Obama gets in a 2nd term. It is downright scary! I even wrote an email about it and sent it to my list suggesting that if Obama is elected the US could be a Muslim nation by the time his 2nd term is finished. He had his first 4 years to get his ducks in a row. In the next 4 years, I'm afraid he might bring the hammer down. Only God can stop him if that is the case.

I had 2 people write me back (a rarity when you send a blanket email to your personal list) outraged that I would say such a thing. One was a Jew who is a dye-in-the-wool Democrat who has been on my list for 8 years and who has communicated with me over the years. She was so upset with my email that she asked me not to send her any more political emails saying anything bad about her dear Obama. I told her I would abide by her wishes but I wanted her to think about whether she would vote for him if there was the remotest possibility Obama was a Muslim. She didn't reply but I hope she is thinking about that.

Now that I know how to send videos, watch for an encouraging video prophesying about Israel and the US for the next few years. After that things might get bad for Israel for a time but God is on the side of Israel through it all.

Bless you and yours ...and bless Israel. I pray that the Israelis will realize how important it is to be ready and right with God. We also need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem as God instructed us in the Bible.

Helen

Hello Peter and everyone

This is an encouraging video for Israel and the world. It is prophesying about this decade. When we see how bad things seem to be we need not despair at least for a while ..that is what it seems to be saying. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

God bless you all.

Hi Evelyn,

I read this open letter to the fraud and great pretender B Hussein a few days ago and I sincerely thank you for posting it.

I remember when B Hussein came to Israel during his campaign in 2008. To say that he received a luke warm reception is an understatement and since then his ratings have plummeted. Interestingly enough the Israelis saw through his lies, prevarications, Taqiyya and disreputable past more then the 69 million that voted for him. The icing on the cake was his nefarious Cairo speech and speech in Istanbul. His Islamic agenda was obvious to most here aside from the extreme radical left who is thankfully a small minority. Even the left to center groups and political parties see though his BS and lies.

So, this proposed B Hussein visit were it to happen wouldn't even get a luke warm reception but he would get what he deserves. Condemnation for throwing Israel an ally of the USA under the bus in order to facilitate his Islamic agenda.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if during the current 2012 re-election bid that he visits Israel again in order to retain the Jewish vote and personally I'm looking forward to it. :) He'll get what he deserves and hopefully my Jewish liberal democratic brethren will see the light and throw this guy into the rubble heap of history along with peanut brain Carter.

Shalom,

Peter
