RE: HSG - Rep. Pence Asks "Mr. President whose side Are You ON"?
6/18/2010 6:49:11 AM
Hi Friends,

Congressman Mike Pence asked a good question, "Mr. President whose side are you on". Believe me when I say Rep. Pence knows the answer to that question as do the rest of the Congressmen and Senators on the Hill.

The truth of the matter is that we all know the answer to that question. B Hussein Obowma has his Muslim agenda and is doing all in his power to push it ahead with no regard to the damage he's doing to the United States and one of her best friends. He's perceived in the Muslim world as a weak President and they know how to take advantage of weak people. The dis accord in the United States due to his disinclination to call a spade a spade and fight Jihadi terrorism is well known and documented.

According to this joker the only enemy in Islam is Bin Laden and Al Qaeda and all the other terrorist organizations are peace lovers. What a fool or what fools he must think the American people are.

His Istanbul speech and then later his Cairo speech were the official launching of his Islam is the best thing that ever happened to the world campaign. Well again his weakness was prevalent then and as each day goes by it's becoming more obvious to the Muslims world wide.

Therefore it's no surprise that Turkey's turning its back on the Western world and has become a full partner in the axis of evil. The Iran/Syria/Turkey block is a danger to the world but B Hussein does nothing about it. And don't try and tell me that the latest sanctions on Iran are going to solve anything since as far as they're concerned it's business as usual and they've given the world and mostly B Hussein the proverbial finger.

Below is an interesting article about future actions in congress against Turkey if they don't rejoin the civilized world and opt out of the axis of evil they hope in the near future to lead. Erdogan does believe in the Caliphate and he wants to be the next Caliph.

Shalom,

Peter

Washington Lawmakers Warn Turkey Over Israel

by Hana Levi Julian

Washington lawmakers are warning they might formally recognize the Armenian genocide to punish Turkey for its treatment of Israel.

A Congressional resolution recognizing the 1915-1923 massive slaughter of Armenians in eastern Anatolia by the Ottoman Turks passed the Foreign Affairs Committee by a lone vote in March.

It will soon be brought before the full House of Representatives for a vote -- and lawmakers who previously have said they would not support the resolution are now hinting they might change their minds.

Indiana's Republican Congressman Mike Pence told reporters on Wednesday there would be “a cost if Turkey stays on its present heading of growing closer to Iran and more antagonistic to the State of Israel. It will bear upon my view, and I believe of many members of Congress.”

For email readers: click here to see the video.

New York Republican Congressman Peter King backed him up, adding that he and “many” other lawmakers who previously were unwilling to support a resolution on Armenian genocide due to the U.S. relationship with Turkey are now reconsidering. “I think that's about to change,” he said.

Nevada Democrat Shelley Berkley and New York Democrat Eliot Engel both agreed in interviews with Fox News. “Turkey is on a charm offensive this week,” said Berkley after getting a call from a PR firm gunning on behalf of Turkey following the flotilla clash with Israeli Naval commandos. “They will not be welcome in my office until I see a change in policy.”

Engel went further, saying Turkey's government was growing too close to the Muslim sector. “It has a strong Islamic bent,” he said.

Turkey, a member of NATO and a long-term ally of both the United States and Israel, defied the U.S. and voted with Brazil to oppose increased United Nations Security Council sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The U.S., Israel and other Western nations have been pushing for the sanctions for more than a year, hoping the pressure will persuade Iran to abandon its accelerated nuclear development program.

In addition, the Turkish government actively supported the terror-linked IHH organization's recent sponsorship of a six-ship flotilla sent in hopes of breaking the maritime blockade of Hamas-ruled Gaza.

One of the six ships was manned by dozens of armed terrorists who attacked the Israeli naval commandos when they boarded the vessel after it refused to change course and head for Ashdod.

Nine Turkish terrorists died and many people were wounded in the clash, including seven Israeli commandos. (IsraelNationalNews.com)

RE: HSG - "The Three Terrors" Another Brilliant Satirical Parody By Latmah

Hello Friends,

The Latmah team came up with another brilliant parody. The Three Tenors but this time it's called "The Three Terrors". Erdogan, Ahmadinejad and Assad. Isn't satire great? The truth made simple even for the deaf, dumb and blind.

Shalom,

Peter

Hello Peter

Here's a video that confirms what you said in your post concerning Israel helping Palestinians. As a matter of fact, they have a whole string of videos regarding Israel in prophecy. This one did not have anything in it about prophecy.

Hello Friends,

Humanitarian aid is the name of the international attack on Israel now. The complaint is that there is a shortage of goods in Gaza (not true) and that Israel is stopping all those that want to assist the terrorist Hamas controlled Gaza. While the blockade is a legitimate one it's in effect only to "block" weapons being delivered to the terrorist Hamas. Any and all true humanitarian supplies are offloaded in Israeli ports and delivered to Gaza by Israel.

There is always a difference between fact and fiction.

Fact - Israel sends over 15,000 tons of humanitarian aid weekly to the Hamas controlled Gaza.

Fact - While the Hamas is busy attacking Israel with their Jihadi suicide attacks and firing rockets on Israel's civilian population, Israel supplies all the electricity to Hamas controlled Gaza.

Fact - Israel gives medical assistance to Gazans on a daily basis and its hospitals are open to Gazans. While other Arab and Muslim countries refuse to assist in this manner Israel is always there to save lives (that includes enemy combatants too).

More facts in future posts but here's Dry Bones take on this issue.

Shalom,

Peter

I'm just back from a trip to America to attend the National Cartoonists Society's Annual Awards Weekend, where I gave a presentation on the history of Dry Bones.

Before I got back, the "flotilla" story broke, so I scratched out a few cartoons about it. The story does not look like it's going to go away. So I'll post the cartoons that I did while watching the world from America and not from my usual vantage point back here, at home in Israel, in a little town on the Mediterranean sea.

RE: HSG - The Radicalization Of Turkey
6/19/2010 7:18:13 AM
Hello Friends,

Once upon a time Turkey was on its way to becoming a Westernized country until the radical Muslims decided that a secular country wasn't their cup of tea. Unfortunately they succeeded.

Turkey is a member of Nato and was trying to become a member of the EU as well (not such a great prospect nowadays). Before the Muslim party won in the elections they had a good chance of being accepted as a member sate but the Europeans with Germany and France at the head were against their becoming members for a variety of reasons the main ones being the radicalization of their Islamic government and the size of the country which would give them more seats in the EU then many European countries.

At the same time Turkey with their PM Erdogan were getting closer to Iran and Syria which suited him well since he's a great believer in the supremacy of Islam over all other religions and the return of the Caliphate ...... with Turkey at its head. History repeating itself?

We all know by now that Erdogan is a great supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah (less the PA and PLO) and along with IHH was behind the Jihadi so called Humanitarian "flotilla". With his radicalization of Turkey and becoming an integral member of the axis of evil with Iran and Syria he's in fact turned his back on the Western world and is promoting the Radical Islam plan of dominating the world.

Dry Bones has an interesting view on this issue.

Shalom,

Peter

Are we witnessing a major shake-up in the region with Turkey going Islamist and becoming part of the anti-Western Islamic Jihad bloc? Will Gaza, the Palestinians, and the "Flotilla" affair be successfully and skillfully used to focus Turkish public attention on the "demonic Jews" while the throat of secular Turkey is slit?

Forbes offers this interesting analysis out of Istanbul:

Erdogan's Dangerous Rhetoric
"ISTANBUL -- Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan's speech upon his return to Turkey from meeting President Obama was greeted in some quarters with relief. "At least he didn't declare war," said one headline. Understandably, the confrontation between Israeli commandos and the Mavi Marmara has consumed the media here. And though it seemed, at first, that the national mood was one of shock followed by outrage, already numerous gently demurring voices have begun to break the surface. The prime minister's speeches showed no such restraint: "Even bullies, pirates and criminals have a code of honor," he said, "but for those who have none, it would be a compliment to call them such names."

Condemning Israel for harming innocents, Erdogan added, "Even in a war, you don't attack women, children and religious personnel," (without, of course, elaborating on what to do if the latter happen to be combatants, as they often are in Islamist circles). The prime minister has traveled the country in a kind of victory tour inciting massed crowds to chant anti-Israeli slogans, repeatedly citing "Thou Shalt Not Kill" as being explicitly a commandment from the Torah and therefore all the greater a sin when committed by Israel. Some 22 national leaders are currently in Istanbul for a conference of Eurasian nations; Erdogan is publicly flogging the issue there, too.

The atmosphere in Turkey is highly combustible and open to political exploitation. Photos of bashed and bleeding young Israeli commandos published in the leading newspaper, Hurriyet--thereby confirming Israel's self-defense argument--elicited cries of "traitor" and threats.

Meanwhile, the Mavi Marmara events coincided with a string of guerrilla attacks in the country by the Kurdish terror group PKK. These included an unprecedented operation against off-duty navy personnel in the non-Kurdish port town of Iskenderun, which left six dead and seven wounded. In the anti-Israeli side of the docket one can include attempts by highly placed Turkish officials to link the two--that is to suggest Israeli support of the PKK--and ubiquitous voices asserting that no Israeli inquiry into the Mavi Marmara raid can be dependable.

Hi Helen,

Thanks for the excellent video. The world and MSM are aware of the fact that Israel is supplying Gaza with necessary produce, medical aid and medicines etc. but find it convenient to ignore this completely. It's much easier to follow the propaganda fed them by the Terrorists and all those that support them. Nothing new here and we'll just have to continue posting facts as opposed to their lies and propaganda.

Shalom,

Peter
