Love to hear from a fellow poet, and I think your interpretation is pretty right on.
The is something in there about forgiving yourself for not see, and for the fear cause we all experience that, and when we do step over that divide and embrace it miracles do happen.

Yes trust is the absolute upon  which allowing occurs, if you get my drift. You must have absolute trust , when you let go, that there will be wings to help you fly, or solid ground below your feet.
