To be a better father, be more ALLOWING. ALLOW your children to find their own path, their own voice, their own desires and dreams. ALLOW them to have their own point of view, realizing that 90% of the time, the things we ask them to do or not to do are more for our convenience than theirs. ALLOW them to test their limits without growing angry at them. ALLOW them to bring the joy into your life that they naturally emit. Drink in their positive qualities and accept the things about them that do not agree with your perceptions. Remember, your children come FROM you, but they do not live FOR you.
