Great advice for us Dads. Children need a lot of love, but they also have a lot to give back.
I remember being at a funeral where the many grown children had such precious memories of the many good times shared with both parents.
Have you heard the joke that we spend 3 years teaching a child to walk and talk. Then we spend the next 15 years teaching them to sit down and shut up?
Joking aside, it is how we do the teaching that is so important.
