Hi, Jim!
The leaders of our countries need to understand each other.
The peoples of our countries have similar claims against their leaders and do not trust their leaders.

America and Russia must not be enemies to each other.

But the
presidential candidate, Romney announced that Russia - enemy number one for America.

This is a very
dangerous statement to all the world.

Greetings from Russia, Lydia

I must have missed that statement by Romney, if he said it I would imagine there is a reason that he can back up. It is unfortunate that our leaders very often fail to convey the people's wishes as they most often are part of the problem. So Iwent and found out when, where, how, why he made his statement and it sounds well informed and well stated.

"Romney said he was "very concerned" about the president's remarks, especially because they were made to a Russian leader.

"Russia is not a friendly character on the world stage and for this president to be looking for greater flexibility where he doesn't have to answer to the American people in his relations with Russia is very, very troubling, very alarming," he said. "I am very, very concerned.

"This is to Russia," Romney said. "This is without question our number one geopolitical foe.

"They fight every cause for the world's worst actors. The idea that he has more flexibility in mind for Russia is very, very troubling indeed," he said.

When pressed by Blitzer as to whether he truly believed Russia was a bigger foe than Iran or China, Romney sought to clarify his remarks, but did not back away from his argument.

"I'm saying in terms of a geopolitical opponent, the nation that lines up with the world's worst actors, of course the greatest threat that the world faces is a nuclear Iran, and nuclear North Korea is already troubling enough, but when these terrible actors pursue their course in the world and we go to the United Nations looking for ways to stop them, when [Syrian President] Assad, for instance, is murdering his own people, we go to the United Nations and who is it that always stands up for the world's worst actors?" Romney asked.

"It is always Russia, typically with China alongside, and so in terms of a geopolitical foe, a nation that's on the Security Council, that has the heft of the Security Council, and is of course a massive security power - Russia is the geopolitical foe and the idea that our president is planning on doing something with them that he's not willing to tell the American people before the election is something that I find very, very alarming," he said."

So as I say our leaders often mis-state a position but in this case I cannot disagree with him.

Tennessee Football Coach fired for making Obama song

Twenty-six-year-old Bryan Glover is a Christian who co-wrote a song called "When You're Holding a Hammer, Everything Looks Like a Nail," which takes a dig at the current administration and what he believes to be the wrong moves for the U.S. He sent a link to his song to everyone in his personal e-mail inbox, which included parents from Grassland Middle School, where he coached football.

"An hour-and-a-half after sending out the e-mail, I got the phone call from the head coach saying that he had had complaints from parents; he was told to fire me," the former coach accounts.

He notes that he was surprised by the allegations against him.

music musical small"When the coach first called me, he said his phone was blown up with parents saying that I was being politically incorrect -- quote, unquote -- if you will, and that some of them were even reading into racial overtones in the song," Glover explains.

But he points out that the lyrics make no direct or indirect reference to race.

A number of supportive parents met with the principal and asked for reinstatement, but the school district is remaining firm. The Williamson County superintendent refuses to say why the coach was fired, but he speculates that it could be an issue of how he obtained the parents' e-mail addresses -- even though the e-mail was sent from his personal account.

Meanwhile, Glover says he has read the Constitution and believes he is standing on firm ground because of the provision for free speech.

Obama Advisor Endorses Mitt Romney for President

In an appearance on Fox News Sunday morning, top Obama advisor David Axelrod – last seen peeping out from under a rock and muttering that he’s hardly even heard of “CNN employee” Hilary Rosen – delivered a stunning endorsement of Mitt Romney for President.

Axelrod told Fox host Chris Wallace: “The choice in this election is between an economy that produces a growing middle class and that gives people a chance to get ahead and their kids a chance to get ahead and an economy that continues down the road we’re on.”

Wow. Hope and Change, 2012 edition: Vote Mitt Romney! And this is the guy who’s normally in charge of getting people’s divorce records leaked to the media so Obama can win dirty!

Team Romney welcomed Axelrod on board by uploading video of his endorsement to YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/share_popup?v=xFUYhN3ikxI

Axelrod will also receive a welcome package of valuable Romney campaign merchandise, including a roof-mounted dog carrier, and a set of Ann Romney’s signature limited-edition “Stay-at-Home Mom ” bunny slippers.

Obviously this was an epic slip of the tongue, but the way it exposes the intellectual poverty of the Obama 2012 campaign is fascinating. Axelrod was trying to paint Obama as the figure of “hope and change,” as though the Oval Office has been vacant since 2009, and everything hasn’t gotten horribly worse since George Bush left office. They really are going to expect America to forget the last four years completely, and give this failed President a mulligan.

In other words, David Axelrod really did endorse Romney for President on Sunday. His actual campaign strategy is even funnier than his gaffe.
