Hi Sandy,
This is a topic that takes off from time to time and in the past I too have been guilty of not insulting others but calling people to task when I thought they are out of line. Not necessarily the same thing but I have found that when I employ the advice given by Lorraine the outcome is not the same as when written in the heat of anger or what ever "feelings" you might have at the outset.
Personally I always try to be polite even when in total disagreement with others since this is a discussion and ultimately we never "always" agree with others.
This is the "season" prior to National Elections when tempers flare and disagreements come to the surface. There is absolutely no reason to insult or to be hostile as you named it. What I do find distasteful though is when some give advice about how to deal with issues of this sort and do the exact opposite in their own forums and some who posted here are guilty of just that.
I know what you are talking about in this thread and commented about it in the forum you are referring to. I don't think he is hostile just a bit sensitive about the issues at hand whether we agree with him or not.
Take care and I applaud your posts and updates. Many might not but let them state why and prove you wrong.
Shalom,
Peter
