What is up with all the name calling when you don't agree with someone in these forums?  The hostility toward you if you don't agree with someone.

I thought we were all adults and could post our opinions like adults.  Without the verbal attacks, but I guess I was wrong.  I mean, no matter how short or long the reply is.  If it's your opinion, I think you should be able to post without being treated like some intruder.

I don't post anything that I can't stand behind.  If I unintentionally insult someone, then I will apologize.  But, 99.9% of the time, I mean what I say and post. 

If a person can't agree, that's ok, but you don't have to resort to name calling and hostile verbal attacks.  It's really uncalled for, and I just don't like it.

I just had to get this off my chest.  Now, I feel better.

I hope you are not regretting joining adland. 

Adland is made up of a variety of people and personalities.  And while we would like to believe that we are all adults and should just agree to disagree at times, that's not the way it is.

It doesn't take new members very long to discover where the positive influences are coming from and where the negative influences are coming from.

I attempt to stay away from the negative influences.   That is why there are only very few forums that I will post in. 

If you are a member of the forum(s) that are doing such attacking, remove yourself from that forum, so that you will no longer get notifications. 

If the person continues to be bothersome, remove them from your friends list (if they are your friends list)

I hope things improve for you, I'm here for you if you need me.

I thank you for that very intellegent response.

I have witnessed several of these, and I did stick my nose in, because another member of adland ask me to.  But what I've found is, that if you don't agree with them,  they have a way of insulting you.

I see so call or reasoning, I did make a joke in one.  Trying to lighten them up, but I don't think they appreciated my joke

I would respect the words of all, agree or not, but how could someone clal you names, you are an angel on this forum, and your heart is on your sleeve, you say what you believe, and that is to be respected no matter what another person thnks.  Name calling is as low as you can go, so keep on voicing your views, many of us enjoy your posts.
