Hi Sandy,

I like the LIST!!! I'm a Democrat and the list is still cute. Politicians are still bozos no matter what side you are on. Frankly though, Obama has me worried. I do not have to listen to anything anyone says about him. Just listen to him talk, the mannerisms - he just doesn't ring true to many Democrats. We aren't all dum - LOL

 Thanks for the laugh.

Blessings

Hi Sandy,

Glad you liked the Graphics.  I have to echo what has been said so far, Just Hang In There!, we need more people like you who are willing  to speak their mind and can't be intimidated.  There's a very good reason why you don't see me very often at many of the other "Social" Communities.  Most are full of High School People, or Adults who think and act like High School People.  Just my opinion, but I would suggest that you consider the source next time you're attacked at one of them.

While I think of it, while reading Rich's Post I was nodding my head in agreement.  I firmly agree with Less Government  - Not More, and so do most of the Republicans that I know.  You see, we're Reagan Republicans, although I'm more of a Jesse Helms Republican, just a little to the Right of Ronald Reagan.  I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried on July 4th when Jesse went home to Heaven, but then I got thinking about he and Ronnie sitting on that big Front Porch up in Heaven, discussing how the world got in such mess and how it could best be fixed.

Anyway, one my favorite Reagan Quotes kind of sums it up...

"The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'."

Of course there's another that I really like as well...

"The government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it."

The fact of the matter is that John McCain is a Republican, albeit not a Reagan Republican, and Republicans believe in less Government.  One other fact that you need to consider, a Vote for anyone other than McCain is a Vote for Hussein Obama.  Need I remind everyone how that other Third Party Candidate, Ross "I'm-All-Ears" Perot, originally gave us the Clinton Fiasco?

I seem to have rambled off track just a little, so I need to wrap it up.  Believe me, as a Proud Republican, I will never hide that fact.  One of my favorite Bumper Stickers, which I liked so much that I had a yard Sign made out of it states that fact very well...

Have A Fantastic Week My Friend,

Phil

“There may be trouble all around, but I am calling you to a place of peace. Be still and know that I am God. Come to Me, and I will give you wisdom, strength, and grace for everything you face." Psalm 46:10
