Good morning Tim...i just had to laugh at your remark about "glittery pics"....

I have seen in my time on Adland and a few other places, where graphics rule in comment boxes, this is but a simple fact.

Quite a while ago ( I just don't have the time these days.. with the other sites including BlogNet Awards  - did i ever?...lol)   I tried an experiment -  on a community I did what so many do...graphics everywhere, I posted on forums..friends lists ..I spent hours doing this.  I didn't have any real conversations, I didnt talk at all...or rather very very little.  What I did notice was that my time was consumed by this endless activity...sure i was getting known..but not for what I wanted to be known for.   I spent about a week doing this..trust me... that was enough!

There is no doubt that there is a place for graphics...I have recieved some that were awesome ( my birthday for example), but they were put into forums/discussions that were appropriate for such a thing.

Through BlogNet Awards, Success Blog Net, I discovered something...guess what?

There are some very kewl blogs out there on glitter graphics...they are amazing!

I would make a suggestion...if you have a love for graphics, glitter or not...why not create a blog?   Do it for fun...do it for profit..share your love like this person did   -   Love Graphics Blog

Now that to me is creating a buzz...and marking who you are in a much better way.

It has indeed been so wonderful, to have the friends on Adand nominate, vote and comment on BlogNet Awards...it has been gratifying to say the least...

Thank you ...everyone of you.

Have an awesome day,

Diane

What a SPENDID suggestion Diane,
And a great blog too :-)
Trust you to find that!

I for one am VERY pleased that you learned what you did. It's been most beneficial to our efforts with BlogNet Awards.

Folks..if you didn't already know it... Diane is one lady to be noted. She does so much for others and has learned so much in such a short time, and I'm honored and VERY lucky to be associated with her.

My hat is off to you Diane.

Hi Tim, good post, could not have said it better. Yes alot of people don't understand that blogging is forever on the internet. Content can be read 3, 4 or 5 years down the road where an ad is gone as soon as delete is clicked. In this day and age that is what is happening to most of the advertising. That is why I say content is "KING"

Hi Diane I guess glitter graphics do have a place on some blogs. They catch the eye and give a little eye candy to the reader. For me personally there is not much room for it, writing about sports does not give much opportunity for glitter, although glittery team logos may work lol.
