Hi everyone,

Please pray for me and for my family.  I am taking over as pastor of our church while also working as the service manager for a manufacturing company.  I need God's direction and strength.

 Someone once said that if you are in a situation where you know not what to do, you close your eyes, open the bible and point.  When you open your eyes and read the passage before you, it will tell you what to do.  As long as I have known you, you have been very generous as well as compassionate, and I'm sure that if GODhas brought you to it, he will also lead you through it.  Our prayers are with you.

 So you will be a Shepherd, I like that title better than preacher, pastor, or revernd. I haven't heard from you in a long time.Course you haven't heard from me either.;-)>

Pleased to hear you are going to be leading the group. I will put you on our prayer list, I have my "shepherd" on my list and every Sunday morning at 8:00 am we are praying for him to be led and filled for the services, you will be on it too.

Let us know how it goes for you and your family,(the church thingie) All the best for y'all.

Hi Joseph and Sylvia,

Thank you so much for your prayer support.  You are right about the shepherd.  It is every bit as accurate a translation as pastor, but perhaps understood better in our modern world.
