AUGUST 29th:  JOHN McCAIN CLINCHES THE 2008 WIN!!!

Today is also John McCain's birthday!! 

Can you imagine the uproar if his VP announcement had been text messaged to some of the people in the Obama audience last night?   But he didn't do that, John has a lot of class!  He had a congratulatory commercial for Obama that ran during last night's Dem convention.

Former Prez Jimmy Carter says he thinks John McCain is milking his prisoner-of-war experience.  Can you believe that?!  McCain was a prisoner longer than Carter was president!  Carter has been milking his crummy presidency for almost 30 years!  What if we said Biden is milking the tragedy of losing his first wife and baby daughter in a car accident? What if we said Obama is milking the fact that he was raised without a father?  What if we said Michelle Obama is milking her upbringing on the South Side of Chicago? (immortalized as the Baddest Part of Town in a song by Jim Croce).

Jimmy Carter is going to get backlash from saying that about John McCain.

 

Len, my youngest son will be going to Iraq in December and to think that someone like Obama, who is well known to be in bed with the enemy, will be in charge of this country just scares me to death and I don't see him actually ending it.

 

And also anyone that is barbaric enough to endorse partial birth abortion is a murderer in their heart if not in actuality. If there is anyone who doesn't know exactly what partial birth abortion entails please read up on it. Everytime I read what happens in this process it makes me sick to my stomach.

 

I was raised a staunch Democrat but there's no way I can vote for this person. I get such a sense of foreboding everytime I see him.  I've voted in many presidential elections but I've never seen such a dismal choice as this one. It just speaks volumes. I think we've come to this point because of all the apathy and people not taking a stand for right or wrong.
