It is time to give our Republican Party an Enema: A PLAN

Timothy Geithner demonstrates either a total lack of competence or a serious candor deficiency.  It's so compelling, how could we not see that we MUST put this guy in charge of the US Treasury?

I actually heard David Gregory this morning on the Today Show inveigh that "under normal circumstances" Geithner would be under much more scrutiny but because of the seriousness of the times we are in, he will likely be confirmed.  There’s more ingenious reasoning by the media and our elected imbeciles. 

There's a saying that "the only thing we learn from history - is that we never learn from history".  This explains why that is.  These people apparently cannot remember what happened last month; so how can they be expected to apply the lessons of history to their current decision making processes?  Let's see, let’s try and muster up some recent experiences that might be usefully applied to the Geithner situation. 

It seems to me that what CAUSED this whole debacle is a lack of integrity and honesty.  If people would have done onto others as they would like to have done onto themselves, we wouldn’t have all of this toxic crap permeating the globe like a cancer.    Anyone with a modicum of intellectual honesty and sense would conclude that Geither’s excuses are dubious at best and even if there’s a chance that he actually was just “ignorant” of such a basic a law for 4 consecutive years, it is preposterous to even consider this individual in light of the appearance of impropriety and the moral vacuum we face.

I have come to expect this from liberals after their 8 year crusade, the theme of which was that lying scoundrels can “compartmentalize” between their public and private life and that their academic achievements and good looks justify their chicanery.

HOWEVER, it is an inexcusable breach of fiduciary responsibility on the part of so-called Republicans like Senator Lindsey Graham of SC and Senator John McCain of AZ who are making the very same argument as the Democrats for Geithner’s confirmation.

I have often been discouraged with my party and sympathetic to those who left to help form new parties.  They say “I never left the Republican Party; the Republican Party left me”.  I am not willing to take that route because this is OUR party.  We are a conservative party and we have have a conservative PLATFORM.  The problem is that we have tolerated “girly man” representatives for too long and I am unwilling to allow them to kick me out of my house.  I include the “Governator” (who coined the term) in that category as well.  He is obviously not PHYSICALLY a “girly man” but his compromise with the left has earned him that designation. 

It is time for a changing of the guard in the Republican Party.  Indeed Rush Limbaugh is right when he says that we have “tried it their way and it has failed” (to no surprise).  It is time to do whatever we can to make this great loss into a positive outcome.  It is time to get our house in order and to give this Republican Party an enema.

• If you are fed up with these followers, join me in CIRCULATING & signing this petition - vowing to vote against any Republican who voted to confirm Geithner’s nomination - in future Republican primaries and vowing that you will work to indentify and “draft” a suitable replacement to challenge them. 
• FAX or email a copy of this peition to your Senators with a letter telling them that if THEY support the nomination of Geithner, they will make this list.
