Congratulations on being POTW and I hope you enjoy every minute of it! But after reading your bio I'm sure you will because despite all you've been thru you come out on the positive side of life...
I visited your blog (very well done) and read all about your cockatiels and how yoparakeet used to feed your first tiel! They are very special pets.... I use to have a cockatiel named Sky when my girls were growing up and on a weekend morning we'd open the cage and go jump on my bed and we'd call, "Fly to Beth, Fly to Beth" and in Sky would fly and land on the bed! *smiles*
You are such a model of hope for those with depression and how to overcome the challenges of having a mental illness. I also have dealt with this illness for nearly as many years as you and it is definitely a challenge! But I cannot imagine what it was like for you growing up and all else you have gone thru.
I am so happy your life is so much better now and I would imagine your internet businesses will also do better in time.... if your blog is an indication of how well you work your business! That is really well done!
