My Profile I Live on the Redcliffe Peninsular just north of Brisbane in Australia.  A beautiful place to live, beautiful climate, beautiful city, beautiful people. I hope you gather that I am contented with my lot. In my life I have done many things.  I grew up in New Zealand and as a young man I was a fitter and turner, I worked on sheep farms as a shepherd and musterer, I was a sheep shearer and a fencing contractor.  I came to Australia in 1957 as a shearer and tried my hand as an underground miner, as a cane cutter, an insurance salesman and a dancing instructor and then I went back to school and spent 30 years as a Chiropractor. I have had my share of successes and my share of failures but at 79 I still think I have been and still am more than blessed. I still Play golf twice a week but have given up most of my business interests.  I inherited my sons cast off computer (He is an IT specialist now) when he upgraded after I had retired and last year I upgraded to windows XP which was a struggle.  When my computer crashed earlier this year the new one had Windows Vista and all I can say about that is that if my brain was going to go rusty from lack of use it hasn’t got a chance.
