Sarah joined AdLandPro August 15th 2006.  For more than one year she  used to support, contribute and reply in several forums. In October 2007, I told Sarah Pritchard it is time to start a forum.  "Sarah Who was her first topic". She was not sure if she could attract friends and people to her forum and what kind of special threads to start. Our discussion lead to the subjects she loved to write about in other forums. She started her forum and today this forum is one of the biggest specialized forum on Mother Earth.

MOTHER EARTH

The earliest artifacts of the Goddess were not intended to represent mortal women. The great round breasts and bellies were symbolic of the mysteries of birth, cycles and fertility.

The ancient primordial Mothers represent the eternal creativity of woman and of the Earth herself. Thousands of figures such as these have been found across Europe, dating back to 30,000-25,000 B.C.
The Goddess movement of the present day has its roots in the primal creative force of the people who crafted these powerful images.

Definition:
In Greek mythology, Gaea [Ga?a or G?] and her daughters Rhea [??a], Themis [T?µ??] and Dione [?????] were the earliest earth and mother goddesses. They goddesses played decisive roles in Hesiod's Theogony, where they make or remove rulers.

A  Celebration In Honour of All Mothers.

The celebration of MOTHER'S DAY is maybe the oldest and first of all events. It goes back as long as there are mothers.

Greeks paid tribute to mothers as goddesses. It was a spring event to celebrate birth and fertility to honor Mother Gaea. Later it changed to Honor her daughter Rhea. The Celtic Pagans marked the coming of spring with a fertility celebration linking their goddess Brigid together with the first milk of the ewes.
