Thank you, John & Pauline!
I am utterly speechless and not sure where to begin.
The POTW Forum is an awesome tool for anyone looking to promote themselves and or their business. John and Pauline, you do an amazing job here and I daresay I speak for all of us POTW & VOTW winners. For me it started with VOTW and has been a snowball that created an avalanche since!
I came to AdlandPro Feb 8/07. It was a 4 year journey getting here and my arrival since has been nothing short of miraculous!
I have two absolutely incredible friends here. Joe Downing ( ) and Judy Smith ( ). Through Kathleen VanBeekom ( ) we became very good friends and associates. Besides Joe and Judy, I have many other very good friends here. I'm not going to name names because its getting late here and I don't think as clearly when its late. Add that to nervous excitement and well you know ... I wouldn't want to leave anyone out.
I was selected for VOTW for the 87th POTW and then nominated for the 91st POTW the first time. Its been a weekly race since then. I congratulate all the winners, candidates and everyone who came out to vote. I can't say it enough how important POTW & VOTW is to everybody at ALP.
When my special friend, Georgios ( ) featured me as his Philoxenia #14, I hit the Top 100 Poster mark. That one still boggles my mind since I read somewhere that it really doesn't mean anything, yet it feels like it does!
For most of my life I've just been a daughter, granddaughter, wife and mother. More recently I can add grandmother and great grandmother to that.
I've been happily married to my very best friend for almost 35 years. I was a bridesmaid and he was my escort at my cousin's wedding. It was pretty much love at first sight. We were married a little more than a year later, just before my 18th birthday.
When I was 32 I got my driver's license, went back to school and graduated. After I graduated we were foster parents for two teenage boys for four years.
I have a good sense of humour and love a good laugh. I enjoy writing, reading, taking landscape photos, playing cards, music and dancing. I love animals and at the moment have two Yorkshire Terriers.
We have a close knit family. I'm caregiver for my Grandmother who will be 92 in June.
Four years ago, I began working online.
Its been a learning experience of trial & errors mixed with moments of jubilation! I've accepted the challenges and through them I've learned a lot about myself; my strengths and weaknesses, what's important and what isn't. I've also learned success is not necessarily monetary.
When I began netmarketing, I had no idea how much I would love doing it. I love the people, I love writing articles from what I've learned and I love the opportunity it gives me to make a difference, not only in my life, but in the lives of others.
Its important to me that those I work with feel good about themselves; emotionally, physically and spiritually.
My greatest wish is to make a difference. Its why I created Back 2 Basics. Back 2 Basics is a fun, easy, inexpensive way to begin earning an income. Because health is important to me, I joined with Joe Downing to create The Energized Marketeers and then again, wanting to make a difference is why I joined My Power Mall.
My Power Mall is TOTALLY FREE to join and a percentage of Corporate profits goes towards helping A-Child-At-A-Time.
ENRGIZED MARKETEERS
Anybody can be successful if they take one step at a time ... one day at a time.
Thank you again, John & Pauline for your dedication to making POTW an incredible forum.
I also have a special thank you for Bogdan and his super staff here at ALP. Without you none of this would have been possible. You have created a wonderful community here that I'm proud to be a part of.
To Mary Hofstetter ( ) for introducing me to her friends.
To Dennis Clairmont ( ) who declared he didn't want to be friends with a duck!
To Rina Rishilah Rani ( ) who is one of the most passionate, outgoing people I know, who brightens my day with her beautiful smile!
Special thank yous to Melisssa Fulwider ( ) and Katheryn Haigler ( )
To Marty Bromberg ( ) for getting me started with the "All About Depression" forum.
To Joe and Judy the two most incredible friends anyone could have ... you nominated me ... you believed in me ... you are my beacons of light. I simply don't have enough words to express how I feel about the two of you.
Good Luck to all of next week's candidates and thank you to those who were nominated with me this week. You are all special and each of you deserves to be POTW and I'm sure each of you will.
Bj Burgess
With love and hugs to all
Sincerely,
