Hello Georgios,

Thank you for the invitation.  I would love to see something on my home town Metz, France that would be awesome. Coming from you it can only be "awesome".

God Bless

Hello Gunther!

Welcome to Kaleidoscope. This event started last summer after a suggestion of Pauline in a direct discussion we had. Different circumstances kept us inactive and the forum couldn't work.

Three weeks ago Pauline asked me if I could take over to run Kaleidoscope. Of course I could not deny her this and Yesterday I got the message from CEO that the Forum is transfered to my account.

We will together will open this great window and soon will we start featuring Countries, Counties. Regions and Towns and special events, related to global geography.

Thank you for the support.

Georgios

Hi Georgios.  I'm happy you are the Kaleidoscope man!  You will do a wonderful job.

Maybe you can do a piece on my state, Oregon.  Congratulations from your friend, Pat

Oregon is called "The Beaver State"  http://www.oregon.gov/  The American Beaver was named Oregon's state animal in 1969.

Oregon also is home to the deepest lake in America. With a depth of 1,932 feet, Crater Lake is a sight not to be missed. Deep, deep blue on a brilliant day, surrounded by the evergreen forest, Crater Lake is a uniquely wondrous and beautiful piece of Oregon's gorgeous terrain. http://www.netstate.com/states/intro/or_intro.htm

OREGON BLUE BOOK http://www.sos.state.or.us/bbook/default.htm

The Oregon Blue Book is the official state directory and fact book about all levels of government in Oregon... and much more. Published since 1911, it is produced and updated by the Oregon State Archives, a division of the Secretary of State's Office.
