First, I'm sorry for the loss of your father. Leukemia makes the chemo even harder to take. Both are devastating cancers. And I'm sorry for the trials you and your husband are going through, Fionnuala.

Bingo - finding the cancer in time! That's the main problem - we all know the buggers are out there but how many of us do the preventive stuff as you and Barb have suggested, and how many of us get those 'well person' checkups at the doc office or the dentist?
