My First Tip on the subject is this:

1. Make sure your Pofile is up to date and your links are pointing to the right places.

The more complete your profile is with a personal photo the better your chances of getting peopl to follow your links and buying form you.  In other words... Use your Profile as your Introduction and Presentation of Products and Service.
