Let me introduce the most awesome group of team mates anyone could ever have! Not only are they my very good friends, but I also have the pleasure of working with them to bring this forum to all of you, each and every week;

and myself;

Here are the qualifications that will be used in the selection of each honoree. People that are selected will be recognized based on:

1. Acts of kindness that they show to their fellow man.

2. Must be willing to help others, and treat people in a kindly manner.

3. Have a good-hearted nature, and shows it through all that they do.

4. Must be a positive role model, and set a good example

5. Must be professional, avoids negativity, and promotes success through faith and hard work

So, if you know of anyone here at AdlandPro that are not necessarily "high profile" people per say, and that don't get the recognition that they deserve, let us know. The meaning of the name MAHLON;

The boy's name Mahlon \ma(h)-lon\ is of Hebrew origin, and its meaning is "sickness". It is a Biblical name, and it is very rarely used anymore.

Here is MAHLON'S bio;

I grew up in the 50’s & 60’s in a little town in PA.  We had the first farm as you left town so I lived in town and on a farm.  In 1965, after graduating high school, I left for the big lights of Las Vegas.  I could not gamble, as I was too young.  So I joined the Army.

I was in the Army in Germany for 3 years.  I returned to Las Vegas and became a crap dealer.  I never like that work, but the money was good back then.  In 1980 my wife and me opened an answering & secretarial service.  That was at a time when the phone company was splitting up.  It was rough going, but I stuck it out for 10 years.

In 1990 I got divorced.  She got the gold mine and I got 2 pair of shoes, some pants and a few shirts.  That is a whole other story.  I went into room service at a big hotel and a year later went on strike for 7 years.  So I went back into dealing.

I have always been trying to get a business going again.  For about a year I had a mobile dry cleaning service.  We did pick up and delivery.  It was too hard to catch people at home and it never took off.  I was an Avon Lady for a while, but never made any real money.  I also email out a motivational newsletter twice a week it is free for anyone at: http://www.thewordfortodaynewsletter.com.  You can see a sample there.  The form does not work there. Yes I also managed to some how be a father of 2 nice children.  I have a daughter, Laurette, who just moved out from home and sells sunglasses at a cart in a mall here.  I also have a 26-year-old son, Lee.  He is a mobile DJ.  You can see him here: http://www.drtechnology.org.
