I'm no traitor to Adland - but I know there are many online communities where you can Foster an "online presence".
As with Multiple streams of Income - there is also the Multiple sources of contacts.
BUT I must warn those who have a tendency to jump around - you MUST focus on a Primary Source of Online Presence as well as a Primary business.
I personally focus on just Two online presence "places" at this time. I am convinced of the fact "one has to focus until you build an engine"...... Also time does not allow anyone to focus on more than two online presence building web sites at a time until they are on auto pilot - and that to me means a minimum of 2000 friends here at Adland.
Each site will have it's own measuring stick so to speak. On Adland I am committed to have over 2000 friends and an active forum strategy..... that is only in infancy at this time. (I'm committed to the third level of commitment - see my other forum on commitment)
Adland is my Primary business building site...... My secondary is ClubYeah.
I chose Club Yeah because it is a small site with simple tools and I needed a place to learn.... Club Yeah too is in infancy. Since joining Club Yeah I have met the site owners and have been informed about their plans to grow and expand.... This excites me because "There is a tide in the affairs of man which taken at the fore leads to victory and fortune". Club Yeah Plans are fantastic - but 6-9 mos away!
Today the traffic on Club Yeah is VERY low - but my learning curve has taken great steps... thus as the site takes off - I'm positioned for greater exposure.
