I am pleased I brought back some memories for you, where I lived we didn't have any hills only the odd slope so we used to have to be either pushed or pulled or if we couldn't find anyone to play with we used to stick one leg on the cart and push with the other one.

I think this was the forerunner to the skateboard only bigger?

With regard to mending the planes, it usually was wings and noses that got bent or broke but it usually took something stronger than plastersein.
