The Confidence of Life

All the while I have been living
I reap the poor man's wages
Anything more I am giving
Like the ones down through the ages.

Ageless precious beauty
Reaches out it's hand
It is the only duty
Of a resident of this land.

Did you take a moment to view
The passing clouds in the sky
Walk barefoot in the morning do
Catch a rare sunrise with your eye.

Feel the gentle breeze on your face
Hear the music of the spheres
Wind and russleing of the leaves
Part of the beauty that we hear.

If my life would end today
I would go to my eternal rest
Confident in the subtle way
I have lived my life the best.
